I would like to know what builds are the best (in your opinion) for PvP concerning Sunsinger and Voidwalker. Any info is great and appreciated.

Blink is arguably the best offensive and defensive mobility in the game. Scatter is a bit harder to use at distances than Vortex or Lance as its damage is divided , but will kill players hiding in a Ward of Dawn instantly as there's more than one projectile being fired. Lifesteal is extremely helpful in Melee engagements as it starts Health recovery the moment you kill someone with it, allowing for recovery in times of pressure. Arcane Force and Divine Order maximize Armor/Toughness so you can live Tripmine Grenades and occasionally you take an extra bullet to put down, giving you an advantage. Annihilate makes Shatter deal more damage total than Vortex/Lance, and allows Axion Bolt to damage multiple enemies with the same bolt getting easy kills. Bloom also helps out with that. Sunsinger- Claws of Ahamkara Grenade- Fusion Grenade Glide- Focused Burst Radiance- Radiant Skin Scorch- Flame Shield Perk 1- Arcane Force Perk 2- Radiant Will Perk 3- Divine Order Perk 4- Gift of the Sun Claws of Ahamkara gives you two Flame Shields, and two OHKO Melees while using Radiance. Fusion Grenades are overpowered like all Sticky grenades in this game, but you need to aim them slightly to kill instead of aimlessly throwing them. Radiant Skin boosts damage reduction to 54% while using Radiance, with the added benefit of Flame Shield you can soak a ton of damage. Allows for Shotgun pushing easy. Arcane Force and Divine Order again as they let you survive Tripmine Grenades and take an extra shot from certain weapons. Radiant Will boosts your "dive" potential by a couple sections, and Gift of the Sun gives you can extra Fusion Grenade. Too good to pass up.

6 RepliesDestiny does not have builds. The characters are beyond generic

1 ReplyBest piece of advice: Not sunsinger.
If you insist then... Not self rez
4 Repliescheck my voidwalker build

1 ReplyFirebolt/Fusion ( I prefer Firebolt since it goes around corners, easier to land, can hit multiple people) focuses burst( Feel like I move faster with this) Radiant Skin( self res is a waste of a perk in PvP unless your playing for objective control) Flame shield(only good option here unless your planning to troll teammates) Radiant Will( although Viking Funeral is really good as well), Touch of Flame(firebolt)/gift of the sun(Fusion). Also for all my characters I always prioritise toughness, since it gives you a bit extra health that allows you to survive trip mine grenades and getting 2 shotted by high impact HCs.

4 RepliesI have a lot of fun with the "fusion dick" build as I call it so star fire exotic chest piece and then I can have ignite in the area effect of the made so If I stick one guy in a group all of the get the damage over time as well just make sure you max your stats towards grenades and equip radiant skin so you can pop your super before Running into a room and tank people with grenades wile the shoot you confused why they can't kill you haha so fun

1 ReplyI would also like to know some answers to this question as Ive recently started using my warlock in the crucible. So far I've found sunsinger to be better than voidwalker, reason being nova bomb can be difficult to use at times and you usually wont get many kills using it. I found using sunsinger with fireborn, the melee that gives you health, enemies take burn effect and with at least half the agility bar filled seems to work pretty decent. Ive found wearing heart of praxic fire and using your super you can run around meleeing enemies plus throwing constant fusion grenade can be quite effective.

7 RepliesEdited by Viridian Hawk: 4/3/2015 10:08:29 PMBuild around your Claws of Ahamkara. Go for a discipline/str build for constant grenades and flame shields on your sunsinger. I prefer firebolt grenades to soften targets. If you struggle for kills then maybe focus on an intellect build. Combine with Bad Juju for more super juice.

1 ReplyMain question I would ask is what suits your play style more? I've used both subclasses extensively and I switch often. Lately, I've been using rocking the void and the build and weapons I have on now if you want to look. I like as much speed as possible honestly. I find the overall speed builds far outweigh more armor and a random lapse in aim or not spotting a nade and narrowly surviving. With either subclass, I find voidfang vestments hard to take off. A grenade, or two, the start of every life is too good to ignore Have fun!

1 ReplyI would say void walker, but sunsingers radiant skin perk for the super can save your life and keep the kill streak going, also fusion grenades are amazing

3 RepliesSunsinger Intellect and disciple build Firebolt grenades Focused burst Radiant skin Flame shield Viking funeral Touch of flame High armour and recovery build And heart of praxic fire

6 RepliesDespite it beong my third charachter my warlock is my favourite character in pvp. I use void walker and find I get quite a few kills from nova bombs. This is my setup. Axion bolt and vortex mastery - means your grenades track people no matter how far they run. I've got postmortem killls ages after I've died! It's also great for softening up targets around corners. Angry magic and vortex helps you get more kills from your nova bomb. Surprisingly a lot of people will walk onto the remnants of my nova bomb and die or ill get an assist from it. I use blink, not offensively but defensively, it gets you out of gunfights your loosing and you can escape from novas and fists of havoc if your quick. I also max out all my armour stats, sacrificing agility and recovery. I also wear skull of dire ahamkara as my grenade kills regeneration my super and I'm more protected when using nova bomb

4 RepliesI almost always use my Voidwalker, so here's my current subclass setup: Grenade: Vortex Jump: Focused Burst or Blink Super: Vortex Melee: The bottom one (forgot what it's called) First ability: The bottom one again (forgot this one too) Second ability: Vortex Mastery I also prioritize regen and agility over armor. This build is less about kills and more about zone control and traffic control. It lets you lock down an area with vortexes to protect an objective or block enemies in an area. Enemies can still run through, but they'll be weakened and an easy target.
