I have been seeing a lot of people asking for a skyrim remake, and im sorry to say but skyrim DOESN'T deserve a remake. Its a great game dont get me wrong im still playing it now, but it doesnt need a remake. If any elder scroll game needs a remake, it needs to be oblivion or morrowind, and anyone that is a true elder scroll fan (not just skyrim) will more than likley agree with me. Oblivion and morrowinds quests are just so much more immersive, and take longer to complete. So please stop....no skyrim remake for you.
Edit: I would love to see the next game, but as far as remakes no on skyrim
Lets hear it! What do you guys think bethesda's next move should be, and as far as locations (elderscroll and fallout) where do you think they should be?
Thanks for everyones comments, lets keep this thread alive!!!

I agree. Especially when there are HD texture mods for Skyrim that make it look next-gen (expect that doesn't apply to #pcmasterrace as we don't experience "generations" like consoles do). Now I've only played Skyrim, but intend to play both Morrowind and Oblivion as I here they are the best in the series and concerning not even the #pcmasterrace has texture mods for, it would be great to see it remastered. Though, I know some guys were attempting to port Morrowind to the Skyrim engine and called it Skywind.

1 ReplyI don't know why it would need a remake, the story would be the same and everything else. And it's not like it even looks bad on consoles.
also, please put a space in between a and lot. Alot is not right.
3 RepliesI would LOVE a remake. Just for players collection and the ability the experience it on a next gen con. Understandably unnecessary, but just saying I am not in opposition. That being said! What is in higher priority by far, is the next in the saga. I am hoping that it will be based in Valenwood of the Wood Elves. A dense tropical region with half hidden cities, and large migratory trees that can reach a mile high which hold entire cities within their branches. That would be expansive, beautiful, and new. Think of how much DLC could be made. So many possibilities. True fans, you can recall project "Moon path to Elswyr?" Jungle theme, and fun retextured models to fit the tropical dangerous jungle motif. If fans can come up with that, think of what Bethesda could really do with Project Valenwood :) just a thought

1 Replyits called pc version

5 RepliesHighly agreed. Actually, next-gen consoles are able to handle almost all of Tamriel. They should let us explore it all, while allowing us to play as new races, like the snake people. Also, how about letting us explore Cyrodil, Morrowind, and Elsweyr, and also let us explore an entirely new continent?

2 RepliesA remake of a game that came out like three years ago? That seems silly. Remake the others first. By the time they're done skyrim will be old enough to warrant a remake.

1 Reply.....I'd buy it

3 RepliesI'd like a 20$ ps4 port just for faster loading screens

7 RepliesIt would be good to have another Elder Scrolls game on the new consoles (single player, not the MMO), but Skyrim with graphics mods on a PC is incredible.

1 ReplyOnly thing that is better about remakes is if they put it on a system that doesn't freeze all the time.
-
2 RepliesThey need to remake fallout new vegas that game was sh!t
-
1 ReplyUnless don't have a PC capable of running skyrim, I don't see a point in buying a remake.
-
3 RepliesI think the next elder scrolls needs to be a giant open world involving the entirety of tamriel, frankly what it's about is irrelevant to me I just want more elder scrolls
-
1 ReplyElder scrolls has been declining since Morrwind in terms of complexities and it sucks. I don't know anything about elders online...but I'm holding out.
-
4 RepliesI'd like to see an Elder Scrolls game where you can visit all of Nirn. Not just Tamriel but the whole planet.

3 RepliesEdited by Neldryn: 4/9/2015 7:14:11 PMHave you ever seen skywind for PC? It's a skyrim mod that let's you play morrowind on skyrim graphics

5 RepliesNo game need any remakes. We need new games!
-
3 RepliesAgreed! No remake. It needs a sequel! It would be cool if Elder Scrolls would let the player be evil(story wise). Go all out Lich King with unique evil abilities and companions. Elder Scrolls of the Old Republic!

1 ReplyMorrowind FTW Skyrim is for casuals
-
3 RepliesLove skyrim!! I shelved my 360 though. But a release on the new systems would be cool. Red Dead Redemption was awesome too but I wouldn't want a remake game trend like they do with movies.

3 RepliesBut kids want it

2 RepliesIt needs a remake on shiiity consoles But it doesn't on PC :3

3 RepliesSkyrim 2.

I'd rather they just push the series forward. Skyrim was not all that impressive, even compared to Oblivion.
