I'm listening to the OST of this game intensively and I found it very inspirational, epic, which gives us back the sense of Space, the outer, depth of it, and the feeling of something big, a grandeur which is there, lying in front of us but lost as well.
I like the different races themes, that are echoing the one from the "The Traveller", maybe giving us some hint about it... who knows!
One thing I don't like at all is... why there is not a FLAC version of this?
Every shop I checked got the low-quality mp3 version, instead of a lossless one. And, now that I mentioned that, a physical recording would be welcome as well (CD or better, vinyl).
I think it's about time to listen to this glorious OST in the proper way, Bungie.
What do you think about it?

I have it in lossless. Pm me for details.

Don't know, listen to Marty and Michaels other OSTs as well. They truly are some of the best composers out there right now.

2 RepliesEdited by Xynadria: 4/22/2015 4:30:34 PMBump. I've made multiple threads about this in the past. Nobody seems to care for lossless music these days though. We'll never see a complete version of the soundtrack either, we'll never see music of the spheres, we probably won't ever see any of the DLC music either. Unfortunately lossless audio is a dying race, much to my dismay. My entire library is lossless. The only way we're getting a lossless destiny soundtrack is if Qobuz gets a hold of it, like they have for other video games.

4 RepliesAlso, the new tracks from "The Dark Below" and "House of the Wolves" are great. I hope that, when the third DLC will be out, a new OST will be out, with all the new tracks... and in FLAC too, of course! Checking on Amazon, the OST is selling well, in my opinion... apart from all the prizes it got. I think it deserves a Deluxe edition soon! Bungie, what do you think about it?
