You Know What Would Make PvP Balanced?
Make special ammo a timed drop just like heavy ammo. That way teams can fight over it, there will be a limited supply so shotgun spam isn't as bad, and primary weapons actually serve a purpose in the Crucible.
Just what I think anyway.
Edit: I've seen enough of these mentioned to make my point about them clear to the point of the discussion
Universal Remote:
1. Lose an exotic slot
2. Gun isn't that good
3. No secondary for a time based on my suggestion, so you'd be at a disadvantage most the game.
4. Hand cannons
Invective:
1. Would still start with no ammo
2. Perk isn't so good that it becomes super reliable if this change happened
3. Still only have limited amount of ammo, so wouldn't be spammed TOO much
4. Lose an exotic slot
Icebreaker:
1. Stability sucks for PvP
2. Need the head shot or you're pretty much dead
3. Lose an exotic slot

2 RepliesJust change rules All guardians go into crucible with same exact armor and perks. All guns can be selected from armory and have same stats and perks. Picked by RNG Heavy ammo drops once per match, secondary ammo twice per match. Primaries have full to start, secondary five rounds. Zero heavy as usual Subclasses have no effect and zero supers. Now that they're the same people will still hate. But, it's now balanced. Only way to make crucible completely balanced.

Special ammo give only one mag. Two spawns of special ammo, then heavy ammo. Two spawns of special ammo, then heavy ammo. Game should be over by then.

2 RepliesI halfway agree. Running around with a shotgun the entire game just shows your a desperate noob that cant kill with anything else. However, overall its not that bad of a problem. you see the shotgun guy running around and WHAM! headshot hes dead next target. Just learn to aim a bit and they arent a problem. HCs arent a problem at range. my SR from crucible ill nail you to the wall if you try that ranging bs with a HC like a last word. if you want a controlled ammo drop then play inferno man

5 RepliesI can get behind this idea but it'll make the regenerating special weapons king. Also I would like to see this as a crucible variety rather than an allover patch, kinda like inferno is now. Thinking about it I think I would like a crucible playlist with juggler active tbh.

1 ReplyOK there are definitely weapons that make you wanna scream when that's all that kills you. The real problem however is people being able to gain an unfair advantage by simply downloading a file and slowing their connection. We've all seen it, players with red bar connections consistently at the top. Lagging and causing issues. And let's not even start on lag switches, yes they are frequently encountered. That player you drop a clip into and takes no damage. Kills you, Then suddenly falls over seconds later. These are the real issues and if bungee is serious they need to fix this major issue. Also as a community we need to report this behavior as well because all it does us kagg up and crash the game servers. And I'm tired of cheaters winning.

1 ReplyBalancing pvp is easy. Add map variety. You know. Maps where shotguns aren't op. Give auto rifles a slight buff. And finally remove snipers from all pvp aspects of every fps ever made. Cause ya know. One shot kills from across a map are always fair.
