Joining Session via PSN Chat.. Directs me to PSN Store
I read about another user having this problem a few days ago. While attempting to join a Destiny session, I was sent to the PSN Store instead of being joined to the fireteam.

I'm not sure if it's on bungies side though, it didn't start happening until psn update, lots of issues with party chat too. May want to bring it to Sony's attention. Like I said, don't really know who this issue is coming from.
