iPhone 6(s?)/iPhone 7

I'm having a hard time deciding my next phone. Now, yes, I do know iPhone is limited in how you can customize it and change settings but I'm not really concerned about that. These are the only options I'm not going to get a LG, HTC, ect. I'm only deciding between the Galaxy S6 and the next iPhone that'll come out.(Hopefully this year.) Samsung GS6 upsides: -Better specs compared to iPhone(not confirmed for next iPhone but I'm assuming it will have better specs) -Camera can start up anytime(in less than a sec too.) -It looks sexy (No, I don't have a phone fetish) -1440p screen resolution -Fast Charge -great design [May add more later] Samsung GS6 downsides: -No removable battery (don't care) -No SD card support (kinda care) -Still has some bloatware but not as much as s5 -I saw in a video by Android Authority that the guys camera broke after having it for a little because the camera bulges out. -Apps aren't as good as Apples -Touchwiz lags [May add more later] iPhone 6(s?)/iPhone 7 upsides: -Great apps -Barely lags -Facetime and iMessage (Yes, this is a big deal for me) -Smaller phones to fit my hands easier (Galaxy S5 fits my hands fine though.) -Probably going to have slight improvements from the 6 -Jailbreaking (better than rooting imo) [May add more later] iPhone 6(s?)/Iphone 7 downsides: Limited custimization (unless jailbroken) More expensive? Lower specs compared to the S6(most likely) [May add more later] EDIT: I have a Galaxy S5 at the moment and the last iPhone I had was an iPhone 3G.

  • I always prefer Android because its less expensive( depend of the model s6 and iphone 6 are almost the same price) and you get much better specs. BUT apple have a much better OS and we all have the uptade at the same time.If you take samsung for example it have the uptade after the nexus line by google because its not tunning stock android experience.

    • If you have more friends with iPhone, get an iphone just for the iMessage portion, makes texting much more enjoyable

I stick with iPhone because both of my computers are Macs and so having an Apple phone is incredibly convenient. I'm not an Apple fangirl, though; I have Macs because they're standard in my industry. I don't think Macs are necessarily better than PCs, they both have their merits depending on what you're using them for.

    • S6 is pretty much a drastic improvement over the s5. I think you would like it. The iPhone has been pretty much the same iPhone for the last decade, which isn't a bad thing.

        • I don't think there are any significant differences on the hardware front, so it comes down to a choice between Android and iOS. If Facetime and iMessage are a big deal for you, then you need an iPhone.
