I am beginning to think that Bungie may have nerfed auto rifles too much especially in PvE. They seem to have gone into a kind of grey area where they are outclassed by other weapons and don't really even fill the medium range engagement role well. I think that they should look at a very small buff in PvP and a slightly larger buff in PvE. I don't have anything scientific, but they just feel underpowered now.
What do you guardians think?

Yup. Way too much.

Buff necrochasm

Edited by R00KIE GUY: 4/13/2015 12:53:37 AMI think that the damage nerf should of been ignored in PvE and they should give about 25%-33% of the damage they took away back in PvP

5 RepliesYes dude . I just want my UP FOR ANYTHING BACK !

Bump Just buff them back to what they were for PvE only
-
-
Yes sir

Also to make Suros Regime feel like an exotic again or if nothing else a little bit more versatile. it should be able to switch between Focused Fire & Hip Fire like Abyss Defiant, let people choose their play style a little more.

Edited by Zebra D. Luffy: 4/12/2015 4:59:10 PMThe range nerf was a welcome change to the crucible but the damage nurf was unnecessary with the pulse rifle buff. I feel that there are now a wider variety of weapons and strategies being used PVP which is nice, but most people don't even bother with auto rifles anymore, that is not balance. Additionally they really should have kept that nurf to just PVP, it should not have ruined auto rifles for PVE, which I feel many of us agree, it has.
-
Yeah it's slightly ridiculous, I am glad to see people using many different setups compared to the over saturation of auto rifles in the crucible though, but just because they were abused in pvp doesn't mean they need to NERF them to the extent they did for pve
-
By far. They've completely invalidated an entire class of primary weapon. Unreal. We need auto-rifles to be buffed for them to be viable.
-
Why don't they just set everything back to the way it was when the game launched. All these small tweaks seem to only piss everyone off. As a matter of fact.... LEAVE IT UP TO US. How about WE can tweak the power of our weapons, so if I want to go in with a No Land beyond "That is perked like a beast, I CAN DECIDE. Same with all weapons.

Bump again.

1 ReplyEdited by OLMANCABOOSE: 4/8/2015 12:11:48 PMThey need to fix all the AR's, no question about it. I have wrote over and over again in these forums, THEY NEED TO GIVE NECRO special attention and they need to do it now. They must fix this gun as it is the flagship of current content. In the next month or so it will be old and it never was worth anything. This bothers me immensely! It is a complete and utter piece of sh**! I agree though Wanderer they need to fix AR's and they need to do it soon!

Bump please

1 ReplyYes, they need a 7-10% damage buff. I tried and tried to use Similar's Wrath after grinding for it in Iron Banner. I literally couldn't get one kill with it in 3 matches, but I wouldn't give up and personally, I like a challenge. I gave it an honest effort and thought, maybe I just need to figure out the trick to it. I'm aware of the range nerf and did my best to close the gap and not fight at distances. On the 6th match, I was 10 kills under and just got fed up. I switched to The last word(having never used it and being inexperienced with HCs) and absolutely destroyed everyone with little effort. I'm sorry but whatever perceive benefit you get from learning ARs is not worth the effort, it just feels as though you are at a massive disadvantage against HCs and surely outclassed by shotguns up close. At the end of the day, ARs are simply it fun to use. Bungie will correct this when the data comes in.
