what is the difference between "upper cut" and "slash combo"?
they both have the same button sequence.
You know what would be super helpful? Some images or descriptions of crota's health bar after the first 2 kneels for each combo.
Last night i was trying some 2 sword combos (r1/r1/r2/r1/r1/r2/r2) and after the first sword it did not seem like it would be enough to finish off on the 2nd sword.
Its possible i was missing some hits though as its tough to tell when to start your slashes. If i wait for him to kneel there isnt enough time so im trying to get him on his way down.

Upper cut damage is how much that last hit does (the actual upper cut of the combo). The slash combo damage is the total including the two regular melees you need to trigger the upper cut. Where was his health bar at after first sword? I believe it needs to be at the front of the "a" in Crota to be half his health. If it was on the back side of "a", or between the "a" and the comma, then it sounds like one of those last r2 hits didn't count.
