Word of Crota VS. Fatebringer
What is your guys' personal preference of these two amazing hand cannons?

I only have word of crota so I can't say what's better.

Fatebringer hands down, only time I'd ever use word of crota would be for void burn or maybe thorn bounty

Both amazing guns, but I prefer FateBringer, not just for firefly, outlaw and fieldscout but also because it creates less of a blind spot while aiming down sites. The added texture to make the Word hive like makes the barrel wide enough that if your aiming at head height, an enemy can be much closer and not be seen below the sites

Take the burns out of the equation. Go watch all the solo vids, 99% used fatebringer and jellyhorn so that's your answer right there. WoC is a great HC! just not at the same lvl as fate due to fate's unbeatable perks.

Unless you're fighting Hive majors or void shields, fatebringer is much better

Fatebringer has the edge except for Praetorians, boss fights, and the last half of the Crota raid.

Fatebringer gets a lot of love due to high impact, firefly and Arc damage and is probably still slightly better than Word of Crota, in fact the only other HC I have used (not all of them admittedly) that is as good as Fatebringer is Lord High Fixer, I ran that for ages in the Abyss as it had explosive rounds and done just as much damage as Fatebringer, if it had 331 damage or any elemental damage I would still use it

Yesterday speed running ahead of the two guys on the mexus i have 110 kills other two guys 50s each. Wasnt even going for kills but ya its good. Wouldnt of done that with word. Edit: not lying. Proof on recent games dead orbit emblem hunter weekly heroic nexus strike. Weilded fb whole time. Wasnt maxed at time either.

I use WoC in the non-lamps part of Crota raid as I prefer hand cannons, but FB is God-emperor of primaries.

Fatebringer does more damage when you count firefly in groups of enemies. FB is still the king of legendary primaries.
