Pffft.
Yeah, right. I'm juggling both games now, and all the heartbreak of losing my souls is forgotten when I play a strike/crucible match.
*edit* I'm seeing a lot of "Oh, some guy beat BB in 44mins so its a scrubby game lol"
So I just wanna say 2 things.
1.
Its cool if you wanna speed run games, it is still considered a challenge, and you might find enjoyment from that.
But spending $60 plus on a game and playing about $10 worth of it and then stop playing seems rather unfulfilling to me.
2.
To all those bragging about how easy BB is, here is my slow clap *clap....clap....clap*.
Because seriously, whatever, I'm not impressed. I think they've fixed the bugs shown in the video already, so good luck finishing it within an hour.

It helped break my addiction but I still came back on reset for the day.
-
Ultimately I think they can co exist as they're very different games but right now it's Bloodborne all the way
-
Some days, I like to lay down on the grass and pretend to be a log
-
I doubt it will, they are two very different games, and also it's only available on one platform.

Edited by ReaperBlack_201: 4/1/2015 7:40:00 AMi have bloodborne. It is fun to play but i don't think it can kill destiny? destiny's mmo base is much more addictive.
-
I WANT IT FOR XBOX !!!!!!
-
If it ever gets to the point where Bungie thinks Destiny is dying, they will get Xur to sell Gjallerhorn then everyone will flood back on.
-
Ye I agree with what a lot of people have said. You definitely need another game to go back to when you get frustrated and just want to shoot things for a bit. For me it's borderlands. Bought them on the same day so is a good contrast. Also the amount of content for £40 is epic... Also Claptrap> Dinklebot ;-D
-
Bloodborne sucks unless you are a dark souls fan.
-
No it will not. Destiny is super casual compared to bloodborne. I never played any of dark souls and absolutely love bloodborne. But when frustration sets in i play destiny. However due to lack of content and 1000 hours in, i go back to bloodborne for great thrill and edge of seat ride.

I am really enjoying Bloodborne at the moment. Good to have a break from Destiny. Will be back for HoW though.
-
Lol bloodborne us great, but not really the same target market. Many people will return to destiny after realising that bloodborne is actually challenging. Like 1980s challenging.
-
Ya I am juggling them too and hate when I go to destiny, try and use r3 to lock onto an enemy and forget I can't :P
-
It's a ps exclusive so us xbox players are still around, looks a good game though!
-
Nope. Not into third person.
-
After a few hours getting my ass kicked in bloodborne i like to take my frustration out on some helpless strike bosses in roc strikes.
-
No it won't. But then it depends what you mean by "kill destiny" People will play destiny for a long time. Games don't die if people still play them. There's people still playing ps1/n64 games etc. (hell every so often I'll do a run through doom!) so it all depends what you class as the death of a game.. If you mean being able to find a pvp match then who knows. You can still log on to early halos and get a game.. Bloodborne however is an awesome game. Not for everyone but it presents a nice challenge and you really feel accomplishment when you finally kill the boss that's been ripping your head off for the past hour or more...
-
Only time will kill destiny! It's gotta be good to get under people's skin so damn much! Love it or hate it it's a great game. And all the haters either expected too much or just burnt out because they played for 1000+ hrs. That's why they all come back onto the forums to complain...
-
Borderlands took me away.
-
Nope the division will though
-
Borderlands has already taken me away. 3 32's of different classes All exotics and raid weapons I'm just waiting for HoW and scrolling through forums at work as far as destiny is concerned
-
In destiny at least you have a chance of survival
-
Short answer: No Long Answer: they're two entirely different games. Both serve different purposes, Destiny is a long endless grind while bloodborne is a game focused on progression and piecing together what little you know of the world. Come to think of it, both have vague stories only bloodbornes is presented in a much better fashion. They are both great games (bloodborne more so then destiny), but they are too different to kill one or the other.

I really want to play some crucible but I have to beat that Rom -blam!-! Plus Chalice dungeons are amazing.
