Will Bloodborne kill Destiny?
Pffft.
Yeah, right. I'm juggling both games now, and all the heartbreak of losing my souls is forgotten when I play a strike/crucible match.
*edit* I'm seeing a lot of "Oh, some guy beat BB in 44mins so its a scrubby game lol"
So I just wanna say 2 things.
1.
Its cool if you wanna speed run games, it is still considered a challenge, and you might find enjoyment from that.
But spending $60 plus on a game and playing about $10 worth of it and then stop playing seems rather unfulfilling to me.
2.
To all those bragging about how easy BB is, here is my slow clap *clap....clap....clap*.
Because seriously, whatever, I'm not impressed. I think they've fixed the bugs shown in the video already, so good luck finishing it within an hour.

Completely different games and Bloodborne is an exclusive, so no. If anything, Bungie and Activision will be the ones to kill Destiny if the keep making bad decisions. End game play needs a dramatic improvement, and they need to add to and improve quite a bit of the story.

Not really. The reason is because they are different game genres. Not everyone that played destiny also happens to live bloodborne. (Action RPGs to be more specific). And I don't think any shooting games will kill destiny either because almost all the new ones coming out are even more boring than destiny. Even battlefront. A games that I have hopes for just because it's starwars. Will probably not kill destiny just because it will feel like battlefield. And battlefield. Just like call of duty. Is getting old. Destiny still feels new compared to those games. Borderlands would kill it. But a lot of people don't like the art style. My friends refuse to play borderlands for that reason.

2 RepliesBloodbornes Bosses are how Destiny's should be. Not in difficulty, in variety. Look at bloodborne. It has 17 bosses, all unique. Then look at Destiny. I has only two Unique bosses, and they're both in the raids. Story mission bosses are just reskinned enemies with extra health. They could've at least added phases! Such as when a Cabal boss is at a third health, it'll enrage, laughing volleys of rockets around the room, constantly, whilst dealing extra damage. Bosses just don't feel like proper bosses.

The funny thing about Bloodborne and Souls speed runs is that anyone can do them.... Yes anyone. But you know what else is funny about speed runs in general? All games have them. Why? Because some people enjoy playing the games they loved over and over again. However, don't be fooled into thinking anyone who's never played Bloodborne can speedrun the game in any way. At all. Period. You'll need to put ~30+ hours of groundwork into the game before attempting a speedrun.
