Good idea however, I think there should also be more currency involved along with the motes of light. Last thing we need is more people complaining about "OP Legendary weapons". I can guarantee if this idea was implemented it would be another gripe fest.

As long as it's an already used currency... Because ,dear God , more types of currency is the last thing this game needs.... It shouldn't even use notes of light... Should use ascendant materials or just weapon parts but the trick is that to put the perk you want on the gun you have to find a gun with said perk on it already... I want shot package on my legendary shotgun... I just have to go find any shotgun that has shot package... Take it to the gun Smith... Have him "salvage" the gun perks... Now it. Can be placed into the slot it would normally go into for a fee of some weapon parts but also you have to complete some mission that he assigns or something.... Idk make it fun

Edited by LagTime999: 4/2/2015 3:01:00 PMI wasn't thinking about pvp , since I don't play it, this is why pvp needed to be separated from pve ...no good reason why this shouldn't be a thing except of course that it would break their precious pvp.
