Not Enough Void Burn Weapons?
I've noticed that there's a lot more solar/arc burn weapons than void burn. Why is this? If it wasn't for word of Crota I think void weapons would be over shadowed completely

Edit: still trending keep going until Bungie see's maybe they'll add more void weapons

Void burn used to really irritate me. As atheons epilogue just had no impact. This means that when a shank or anything that didn't have a void shield came at you, it took forever to kill. It also had no stopping/staggering ability against praetorians in the vault of glass. Work of Crota is a fantastic weapon though. This weeks nightfall was a blast. I played it incredibly aggressively using void walker and with 2 defender Titans. We just burned the Nexsus down in about a minute.

I wish we could choose the type of damage we want when purchasing weapons. For example the base model comes with Arc for 150 marks but to get a void or solar we would pay 175 or more to be able to choose

Hand cannon, auto rifle, sniper, shot gun, fusion rifle, launcher and machine gun. There are tons of solar weapons and just had an arc launcher drop to complete my arc collection. Most of these weapons only get used on nightfalls anyway. Edited for stupidity ;-)

There's not a lot of void shield enemies tbh, there's a lot more with arc and solar in the game, a lot more. Void weapons are pretty much pointless unless void burn is on.

I agree, doing thorn bounty, I had to use a blue void sniper rifle, as I've never dropped a void one. All arc or solar. Got a few void machine guns though. Just can't drop a void sniper.

i guess because there only 2 enemy that has void shield and 3 for solar and arc solar - wizards, centurions and shanks arc - captains, knights and harpies void - minotaurs, psions

1 ReplyGetting void weapons aren't that hard. VOG; atheons epilogue, praedyth's revenge, corrective measure. Even though there 300 they work great in a void nightfall. Crota; word of crota, swordbreaker. Truth was a common drop now not so much. Harms way and one way ticket are common drops with void. The one void weapon I had a hard time getting was a fusion rifle. But right after using my light/beware in this week's NF. I finally got a plug one void. Then dead orbit gave me final rest in void. What would be great is the trolley problem in void. That would be sweet...
