New Titan Ward of Dawn Ability
So I was playing around with my buddies in the nightfall one week when we came to a good conclusion; as much as the Titan bubble is effective at protecting ones self, it greatly prohibits anything but a strongly defensive game. But what if, and this is a big if, a Titan bubble could be fired out of. It would have to be part of a whole new tier of abilities, but that's fine. The main part is that a whole new play style is opened up to fire teams. Some may show some hate for this, I expect that, but it's still a pretty good idea and I have no doubt others have thought about it before me.
Just let me know your thoughts and ideas for drawbacks that this new style of bubble would have so as to balance out with the other bubbles.

1 Replythat would be awesome to form a small void phalanx shield comparable to what cabal use and make its coverage area and defensive ability comparable to that...it wouldnt be invincible but would save your butt from direct fire...and if you could melee with it too just like the cabal do! *drooling*

1 ReplyI think it should be revamped. Ward of Dawn becomes a shield to carry like VoG relic. Pros -can move to different locations and cover friends. No more stationary bubble -can be used offensively, melee with it or shoot large beam out if it Cons -can't use weapon while doing wod animation -melee with the shield or using the beam shot uses up super bar (like bladedancer)

1 ReplyHave you seen the bubble technique done in the crucible yet? 4 Titans feed orbs to the other 2 players to keep their supers going. The titan bubble is already powerful without unbalancing things

3 RepliesWith the helm of saint 14 i use my bubble offensively. Charge a group of guys pop it and go to town with blessing of light on. Makes anyone who charges at you fodder.

26 RepliesSo let me get this straight... your suggestion is to be able to pop up a weapons of light, everyone get inside and then mow down everything else around it but not have anyone be able to harm you?... hey why stop there and just make it travel with you... hey why stop there, lets just make it permanent... hey why stop there and just have people drop dead upon looking at it.... hey why stop there and just have people automatically return to orbit if they happen to get matched against a titan...

5 RepliesI would be OK with this so long as rounds that travel through the bubble only do 50% of their full damage per shot anything more would be too OP. Weapons of Light could be utilized here but that would still only be 80% of full damage per shot. It should be in the existing Defender perk tree but using it would mean not having something like Force Barrier. Or perhaps even an alternative to WoL or BoL. You do full damage but using the perk means no Blessing, Weapons, or Armor of Light. This coming from a Titan.

1 ReplyIt would be to OP when I do strikes I use bubble but I also have weapons of light so weapons are more powerful smart fire team members will go through it for that.
