Make Xur Upgrades less confusing for new players

Hello people of the feedback forums, I don't usually visit this section but it's time a made a post about an issue that needs to be addressed. Every week I notice several users making posts like "Xur reset my exotic" or "Xur stole my Shard!" made by people who do not understand the purpose of xur upgrades. The thing is all of this could be prevented by one simple change. Instead of having it say Upgrade equipped exotics Bungie should change it to say Update equipped exotics. I believe by changing this it would lead to less confusion. Any input is appreciated Thanks, Mecha Cam Edit1: Changed to a better title

 • I would have read every line of the upgrade description if they provided one, but there was absolutely nothing there. It just calls it an "Upgrade", which makes it look like Xur will upgrade your weapon for the price of one Exotic Shard (which seams reasonable as that is not a cheap price). So the problem isn't that we didn't read or that we came to some kind of illogical and hasty conclusion, the problem is that the feature is misrepresented and can easily be confused with something else that seems to make perfect sense. If I already have what Xur considers to be the fully "upgraded" version of the weapon, I shouldn't even be able to purchase the so called "upgrade" as it serves no purpose. At the very least, they should add a warning/description so you know what will happen. I shouldn't have to be an active forums participant to know how something like this works - it should be made obvious from within the game.
