I wonder how Hard Bungie is working on HoW
Because face it.. And this is the absolute truth. All you "true destiny fans" will just [b]have[/b] too agree.
HoW will either Kill or Revive this game to some extent. And Bungie knows this. (hence the 2 month delay)
And if they try pull this off again with destiny 2.. Well its pretty much done for them.
Reasons for being butt hurt? Well unlike most of, you I bought the £99 version ($120 ish) And have been disappointed. But yet I have tried to make take my money's worth.. But after completing the campaign 4 times now.. It just doesn't cut it.
Got bored from the fist time. Forced to re do just to get ti lvl 20 :3
So.. Opinions?

4 RepliesI am sure that this is [b]what you will get in the [u]Comet Expansion:[/u] [/b] - 10 new(old locations) story missions, - 3 new PvP maps that noone will play and even worse PvP servers, - 1 raid that is unplayable and will be fixed in 6 months, - No story, - No cutscenes, - The same NPCs in the tower, - Exotic sparrows that are different color than your white sparrow, - Exotic ships that are different color than your normal ships, - 3 new subclasses that were cut from the game (hunter will be even more OP in the crucible because he will be able Blink through walls and auto aim), - 10 new exotic weapons from which 5 are colored base models of the weapons, (9 of them will be horrible to use and you will have to wait 6 months for the Buff) - 1 new weapon class fusionshotgunsniperrifle to make noobs feel pro, - Iron Banner 1.1.2.9.10.1, - The same enemies but colored differently, - 1 new planet that you can Orbit, you can't go there (you have to buy 2 new DLC) - Vendor gear and weapons that are colored from white items, - New exotic armor that are based on the existing models (especially hunter stuff), - Raid weapons that are broken and that are the same as your legendary weapon but with some shit on them, - more vault space from 24 to 25, (big update, will be hyped for months) - A smile from Deej. - At the end, you will notice one little thing. PC exclusive. (not PS)

Destiny is just another video game. It's got really good fps mechanics but even those are completely overshadowed by it's most polished and most successful attribute: Pre-launch marketing. That'll be what this game is known for in the long term. The next time some other studio hypes the shit out of a game this hard and doesn't deliver what they promised, people will say "Huh, looks like they pulled a Destiny."

1 ReplyHere is the way that I look at it. I've put more time and have had more fun in this game than all CoD games combined. That's coming from a former player. If there is something to be said about this game, its value. I'm talking pennies per hour of enjoyment. For a guy that has a wife and a mortgage, that says a lot

I agree. I haven't touched more than one game since September 9, 2014. I will continue to play, and once House of Wolves gets boring, that will be my last Destiny adventure.

Example for those who don't know: Step 1: game release Step 2: every month or so open a raid or strike set to get gear for the next raid Step 3: repeat step 2 till end game Step 4: by the time you have played enough to get full end game gear new expansion Step 5: repeat for 10 years Step 6: keep players forever till you change enough everyone stops playing

They probably pushed it back because of how glitchy and cheesy the raids have been. I bet they are running the new raid through the gauntlet of testers to try and fix cheeses before release. Of course, we will still find some.

2 RepliesThey need to reinvent their DLC system. Every month something new should come. And I'm not saying a big DLC every month. Just a new strike, new crucible maps, new game mode, new activities or something in that trend. Then once every while the bigger DLC's.

They're working hard on spending their $500 M and telling us oh,we're listening to the community and doing everything in our power to appease but they can't give an adequate amount of content or even fix bugs that plague raids since day one. Does that sound like a competent team making 500 mil?

They have to take three steps forward now but I swear to God stupid new Bungie is so -blam!-ing incompetent I'll be surprised if HoW doesn't cause World War 3

How hard is Bungie working on HoW dlc? Seeing as most of it was finished before release and included on the disc, I would imagine a small team prepared final tweaks months ago. Just hope they're actually using that spare time to work on Comet dlc rather than just making the sequel.

Kind of sucks where you are if you paid upwards of $120 for it. I paid less than $90 US, and have more than gotten my monies worth.

I think a lot of us are still playing right now because we bought the expansion pack that included HoW. I've been bored for months, but still force myself to find things to do, right now it's getting a third ship from hard Crota so I have one for each character....lol. Already have 3 32s, all the exotics/raid weapons, though I do worry that HoW will have just as little content as TDB, which could be another reason it was pushed back to the second last week of May, that way it's only a couple of months until comet dlc if the date for that is to be believed.
