My girlfriend likes to play games- most of them are just on her phone.
But a few years back I got her into Minecraft. She loved the game and still does, but ever since Destiny came out that's all I've really wanted to play. That and the occasional GTA.
She knows I like to play Destiny, and I've tried to show her how to play a few times.
She loves the customization. She seems to be semi-interested in the story. But here's the problem.
This is her first FPS.
I play this game with my younger brother, his friend, and my best friend. I'd love to get her to do Raids with us because they can really be a blast!
But she isn't showing much sign of improvement. She's afraid to get out in the enemies faces and kick alien ass. (She runs scout rifles and snipers).
She doesn't understand the mechanics of the game very well, like public events, the story, and intellect/strength/discipline.
But when she's over and I walk up to grab groceries at night I sometimes come home to her playing Destiny.
Do you think she could be raid material some day? I'd love to play with her and have her know what she's doing! But is this going to be too hard of a game for her to learn how to run a FPS? The shooting in this game is really solid, but I'm just not sure.
Should she maybe stay away from the missions for now? Maybe run patrols?
Almost sounds like my gf she hates games where we have to play against each other and wants to play games together but showing her how to play is rough. She shoots but she doesn't aim or move (she has a hard time with that). So a dreg will be right in front of her and she's aiming in left field shooting. It's gonna be rough especially since it's her first FPS but give it time and be patient.
