Any way to cheese the pvp part of bounties?
As above, I suck ass at crucible despite my best efforts a 0.5 kd is a good day

Either a fire team of 6 in control or clash, w.e your preference. Other than that, you can try watching tips on YouTube about how to better your play. There's always the 2 friends into rumble option if nothing else. All 3 of you being familiar with crucible maps is pretty much a necessity for this tho, or it's just as grueling

No need to cheese. I sucked at pvp too. Before I met the purifier!!! New monarchy fusion rifle (mine was void) Fusion rifles are soooo easy to use!!! And idk about u, but I can't say I earned a weapon if I cheated the bounty.

Not really cheese. Ultimately you have to step into the crucible to get it done. If you have friends who can help out then that's a start but it's about finding weapons you are comfortable with. The thorn bounty can put people off. The 500 points with void weapons can be trying but, if you want thorn, you have to be patient. Void shotgun, take it slow, run from trouble, don't enter fights you can't win, learn the maps etc. Warlocks have an advantage with their void walker subclass but if you are a Hunter then use invisibility, crouch and camp. Once you start to build some momentum it will get easier (or so I am told lol) Good luck.

1 ReplyTbh just use shotguns unless you're great at predicting shots with a sniper rifle. Everybody can (or at least should) be able to aim a shotgun at someone's face.

Thorn super bad advice, get a group of six of your friends (a full fireteam) they let u kill them then if one of them has a bounty just switch off

I was just as bad when I got the thorn bounty. Still finished it. Those bounties help you be a better player by teaching you to pick and choose your battles. I'm still not very good, around .89 in control, but that's up from .35 before iron banner. If you can't finish the bounty legit, you don't deserve the gun...

I'm also terrible at crucible and I still did all the exotic bounty parts for pvp including the thorn.

Just play the fricking game. Now, you can play for one specific purpose Ex: snipe down a hallway for headshots, play carefully and don't reload for those buckshot bruisers. But cheese? To cheese is to take advantage of a game mechanic and use it in a way it was not intended in order to make something easier for you. No, and if I see someone glitching or boosting in the crucible, I will immediately report them and write a long bitchy post on these forums. Don't ask for handouts, instead, try your best and achieve your goals the legit way

Cheese an Exotic Bounty?! You Blasphemer! Away with you ! if you have to attempt to Cheese an exotic bounty to obtain an exotic weapon you Don't deserve to have the exotic weapon. If you want to get an exotic that can only be obtained by finishing an exotic bounty Man up Bitch and do the Bounty legit or be gone with your Blaspheme and Sorcery as your not worthy lmao!

3 RepliesI have the thorn bounty and I just finished the cruc part of it yesterday. I equipped my swordbreaker, praedyths revenge, and valedictorian. Switched back and forth to the special that worked best for the map I was playing. It's all about using your class to your advantage. As a hunter, I like to crouch, turn invis, and then run with my shotgun. I usually HATE cruc, but I actually found myself starting to enjoy it - especially when I'd get a streak. ;) Good luck to you!

Never going to happen unless you play rumble with only friends. Just keep playing pvp and try to get better. Learn the maps, learn ammo spawns, learn lanes, find guns that work for you and use them in pve to learn how they shoot and feel. I recommend either playing the game or watching streams and youtube if you want to learn. Pvp isnt that bad once you get the hang of it. Most bounties can be completed in 1-3 matches, minus a few that require 5+ or so.
