It seems that Halo 5 will have a driven choice moment between Master Chief or Agent Lock.
After HoW and Comet we will see what Destiny offers, but Halo is HALO!
Would Halo 5 takes you hours always from Destiny?
Halo 5 trailer has better story than Destiny?

Halo never had much of a story. A clique bad ass with no communication skills saves the universe.

15 RepliesHalo has strayed so far from the canon I hold very little hope that h5 will make much of any sense. Not that its going to stop me from buying it. Since reach the story line has done nothing but add more contradictions. It seems as if they have forgotten they have novels out there.

The trailer itself has more content than Destiny. Too bad they f u c k e d up the MCC and that made me not buy the game on launch, I will wait a month or 2.

6 RepliesDestiny will rise or fall on HOW. If we get the same pittance of a story, robbery of our exotics during the upgrade process, and frustrating glitches, the player base will shrink. I think part of the reason so many people are still playing is that we all bought the Expansion Pass. If HOW is handled the same way TDB was, then I'll level up to the next max and then table Destiny. Purchasing Comet will depend entirely on what the reviews are like after release. There is NO WAY I will pre-order it.

Once halo 5 comes out Bungie might as well shut down. That game is gonna take over. I wouldn't even be surprised if North Korea even asks for a peace treaty so they can play it

Halo 5 will absolutely take me away from Destiny for a long time. Then I will Most likely return to Destiny because destiny has that spell over me.

Definitely more story in those trailers than all of Destiny combined. 'Look, a thing! Shoot it, it has a scary name!'
