Too bad Bungie has shown they have no clue what they're doing with Destiny since day 1 and now they're trying to get a scape goat. So pathetic of Activision Bungie. Oh well what did you expect from a large company? They can't ever admit it's their own fault. A bunch of children.

It's deeper than BNG & Activision. Power houses like psn and xbl pull strings too. Forced upgrades? Idk...[i]sounds[/i] illegal... I dont recall buying half a Destiny jewel case.

Edited by Matu Flp Krawfe: 3/30/2015 3:59:13 PMThey've made one so far (its not a franchise until you can establish it has some lasting presence in the industry, a datum of one isn't enough), and as various Bungie devs has said for more than a decade, Halo was a happy accident. They didn't develop it as "the FPS of the decade" it only became that as it served an unrecognized social function. We (ie. culture) are responsible for making the franchise, Bungie merely provided the stock form for our hopes and desires to fill in. Any comparable game at the time would have done, they just happened to be the one that was available.

Let's get this straight : Halo was acclaimed and played by people because it was amazing, not because people arbitrarily chose it to be part of cultural expression. Just because the devs said it was a "happy mistake", doesn't mean there wasn't brilliance in the original game or the multiple amazing follow ups.
