I've only had the game for two weeks now and this was very apparent one the first. I thought that if I waited to buy the game I wouldn't be DLC hungry and the balance team wouldn't be on vacation. http://images.sodahead.com/polls/003349497/11192161_29249612_answer_1_xlarge.png How do you stop a blade dancer, Golden Gun, First of Havoc or Nova Bomb? You don't Death is your only solution. What about Radiance or WArd of Dawn? Just go the other way and ignore them until the ability turns off. Why are titans given an instant kill? Why are Warlocks given an instant shield? Why are hunters given a get out of jail card? Just because. I think it would be better for the game if Bungie tried to make counter play. For those of you who don't know what counter play is, its when if someone does a specific thing there is something you can do to stop it. How many times have you ever stopped a Hunter from blinking away, a Warlock from just punching you as and becoming a tank, a Titan from pretending he's Usain Bolt with the urge to kill rising or a super without overlapping fields of fire? There are many things that require attention and I'm surprised that if you include the BEta these have been a problem from nearly a year now. Someone at bungie has to of played the game and faced one of the things listed above and thought "I should nerf that." I'm not a game designer so I don't know how to balance all of this but people out there are and they really need to get to work on this. DLC is great and all but i'd rather have game where I can go into a match and not be destroyed in 777 different ways before I even have a chance to get my super up. BTW what's up with Control? At random moments no one is able to respawn. THat doesn't' really have much to do with counterplay I'm just curious. P.S. And I do not mean the type of counter play that RiotGames does with LoL where they just nerf something into the ground and jut say counter play, its too complicated for people like you to understand.
