Black hammer is god
So I got the black hammer 2 weeks ago, and god dam!!!!!
It is a beast best sniper in the game by far, you pretty much get infinite ammo without reloading if you get 3 critical in a row, I knew it reloaded for you but I wasn't aware that it didn't take any ammo away at all! The gun is amazing and I hope in HOW, there is a legendary upgrader like xur has for exotics because I don't wana part with this beast of a thing!

Black hammer is God on Atheon, walkers, archon, valus, nexus and every non shield ultra. But shields make it redundant imo which is a shame. Icebreaker is my firm favourite for utility but if used correctly, black hammer is the best...

8 RepliesPeople seem to love the Black hammer in PvE... I personally prefer my Icebreaker. I don't know. I just feel so more comfortable using Icebreaker and never having to worry about crit shots. I mean I can get 3 crits shots in a row I just don't like that my gun being a good gun depends upon me being able to land 3 crit shots. I mean enemies move around quickly, I can one shot crit shot enemies and have no other enemies around to land the other crit shots, or I can just be going against an enemy without a crit spot/ with an inopportune crit spot (Atheon and his deceiving crit box, Phogoth and his hunching, minotards, phalanx's, and locking hobgobs). So while I feel as if it is a GREAT sniper.... I like IB better.

I got it on the first and only time I completed crota. Its quite a treat for pve, alternating between that and icebreaker for each of their situational uses.

3 RepliesIt was the first or second raid weapon I got, but it definitely wasn't for me. I sharded it to level up my hunger of Crota. No real regrets.

Enjoy it while you can. Just like VoG weapons, it won't be upgradeable when HoW comes out.

I really like the perk but the rate of fire is not my style lol it's way to slow and it irritates me its s good gun don't get me wrong but it's like it almost delays after u shoot
