Most frustrating way you've died in PvE
I was walking along on Mars trying to complete the knuckle duster bounty, and a few others. Suddenly a phalanx melees me and I go flying across the map and into the air. Sooner than later hitting a wall ending the knuckle duster bounty. I needed only a few more melee kills. What's your story?
Edit:love the stories guys, I've experienced the same ones too. A majority of them. Some not so much.
Edit 2: if you guys have videos of your stories please do share. Many of them are pretty damn funny. Also there are a lot of trip mine deaths.

I was doing the knuckleduster and patrol mars bounties, tried to meelee a phalanx (bad idea) it launched me towards another phalanx that then launched me out of the map.

I was farming glimmer on Exclusion Zone, and a Phalanx punches me so far that I made it out of the Darkness Zone and respawned in The Hollows. I was running back to The Barrens (because it was the Darkness Zone) so I could kill myself with a rocket launcher, but another player materialized in that tunnel and immediately killed me with his sparrow. Normally you go right through players who aren't in your fireteam, but somehow he hit me.

doing a nightfall and me and my friend die so its just this random left at the final fight, so he runs over to my ghost to (supposedly) revive me but no, he just starts t-bagging me while getting swarmed by thrall! needless to say someone got kicked after 😄

I didn't die from this but I was shocked when I saw an enemy run through a wall at me. I shotgunned him, but I just stood there.

My guardian went backwards about 20 meters and slammed into the wall behind him. Guardian down. Had to have been some sort of glitch. Took me by surprise when I shot backwards.

Forgetting I was working on the 9000 xp without dying, then going for a golden box below the cliff's edge, then jumping off to easily get back up.

Clearing out the rooms after taking down the deathsinger and all was going smooth. I walk past the crystal while shooting at a knight in one of the side rooms. I walk next to one of the columns and I suddenly die. My death scene tells me that I was killed by misadventure. All I'm saying is watch out for those columns. They are some sneaky bastards.

Was doing crota for a couple of friends on my warlock and my friend saw an ogre so he put his ward of dawn down as I shot my gjallahorn and killed myself, crota was 1 shot too.

Shooting a rocket at a shrieker during the death singer, only to hit one of those hanging hook things and blow up in your face.

Sparrow-killed on a Strike with the Walking Tall bounty active. Was trying to deploy Ghost to unlock the door on Summoning Pits. Quit in disgust.
