PvP? Autorifle: --- Non-Exotic: Shadow Price --- Exotic: SUROS Regime I am a big fan of the high Impact / slow RoF archetype as I find them easier to control then the bullet hoses. I like how Abyss Defiant rolling Focus Fire handles it is just that the time to kill with it in PvP is the highest of any autorifle in the game so I stay away from it in the Crucible. Pulse Rifle: --- Non-Exotic: Oversoul Edict --- Exotic: Red Death I love Red Death with its 2 burst kill capability. Not really a big fan of Oversoul Edict in PvP... I would use Three Little Words if I had one with a semidecent roll. Again, big fan of the high impact / slow RoF model. Handcannon: --- Non-Exotic: The Devil You Know --- Exotic: Thorn I love the precision I can get consistently with TDYK and I find it easier to use then Fatebringer (burn me at the stake for it, I don't care). Thorn is great although overused in PvP with its 2 headshot kills. Scout Rifle: --- Non-Exotic: Ghelion's Demise --- Exotic: MIDA Multitool I love MIDA on my hunter. I absolutely love this weapon. I don't care that it feels like I am shooting a BB gun, I love MIDA. Ghelion's Demise is basicly a handcannon on a scout rifle frame. I love the damage I can do with that weapon but it feels more like a PvE gun. Unfortunately I do not have a VoC otherwise I would use that. PvE Autorifle: --- Non-Exotic: Abyss Defiant (focus fire) --- Exotic: SUROS Regime Since 1.1.1 I stay the fuk away from ARs in PvE. They just do not deal enough damage to justify using them in pretty much any endgame situation. Pulse Rifle: --- Non-Exotic: Oversoul Edict --- Exotic: Bad Juju Bad Juju is amazing so long as I do not have to burn though a shield, but hey that is what secondary weapons are for. I can hold down the trigger and only let up once everything is dead. Bad Juju is fricking amazing. Oversoul Edict is my Knight killer. Handcannon: --- Non-Exotic: Fatebringer --- Exotic: Hawkmoon Fatebringer is amazing with Outlaw and Firefly. It is the only handcannon that can have Firefly on it. Explosive rounds is just an amazing addition. Hawk-awesome is just flat out amazing. I love that weapon as it is a one bodyshot kills to the lowest tier of enemy and one headshot to most of the rest. Fricking amazing. Scout Rifle: --- Non-Exotic: Ghelion's Demise --- Exotic: MIDA Multitool Even though it has horrible damage, I love the High Impact rounds hidden perk on the gun. One hit will stagger almost anything unless there is an Angry modifier. I can keep 3 mobs stunlocked with MIDA and it feels great. Ghelion's with the right rolls is just a damage machine in PvE.

FATEBRINGER. Firefly + Outlaw + arc burn......... I win

An argument can be made for just about anything- if a person knows what he/she is doing, he/she can even make Necrochasm work pretty well as a weapon. Personally, I've got something of a bias towards scout rifles, especially those with high impact and low fire rates. Gheleon's Demise and Badger CCL are pretty good examples of that sorta thing, and I'm fortunate enough to have a Gheleon's Demise with Firefly and Outlaw. Before that, it was impossible to separate me from my B-Line Trauma. Same perks! Horrific impact, though. I moved on to Gheleon's Demise as soon as the opportunity presented itself. I also have a MIDA Multi-Tool, but it mostly just sits in the vault. Haven't used the thing in forever. Far as auto rifles go, I'm rather fond of Abyss Defiant, though it seems to fall pretty short in PvP. Maybe that's just me? Exotics? SUROS Regime is a pretty awesome rifle, though after that latest patch, you'll have trouble convincing much of anybody of that. Hand Cannons? Fatebringer, no question. Outlaw/Firefly is just too valuable to let go. Far as I know, Timur's Lash can also get that combo, and it hits [i]even harder[/i]. As for exotics, Thorn is pretty good for just about everything. The Last Word dominates in PvP, what with the whole "4 shots or less per kill" nonsense. Not sure about Hawkmoon. Too much of an Xbox fanboy to know how it plays. Pulse Rifles have all of two good options- Three Little Words (Solid impact, low-ish fire rate) and (sorta) Oversoul Edict. Far as Exotics go, Red Death is seeing a lot of use lately, and I've seen a few more Bad Juju users than I used to. Kinda wondering why I never saw those two around before, considering they were both pretty solid choices before 1.1.1.
