Does ANYONE actually know how to do VoG without cheesing anymore?
Like damn, seriously if you still need to snipe and cheese you guys are terrible.
The cheeses I am referring to are the sniping cheeses where you fight Conflux through Templar from the top.

I've done the whole thing legitly but nowadays no BC of all of the people who don't know what they're doing. As well I stopped doing anything besides Atheon and Gorgon chest for the exotic role.

Yeh I've done the whole hard VoG properly... As Lv 30... It's not hard... Templar is annoying but still reasonable and not to challenging... Had 2 on each conflux and for Templar we waited around the back of the map and sometimes hid in the cave. Some people went uptop above the map on the pillars and sniped... (Not really cheesing coz its easy to die up there)

2 RepliesCheesing is exploiting things, like the host drop out kneel on crota, or climbing to the top of the tower in crota, or going across the bridge without forming on crota. Sniping up top is a strategy. I'm a sunsinger lock, and I don't use self res to start it. Even still, using self res is part of the game, so it's a strategy. In summation, cheeses are strategies, that make a goal obtainable easier. I raid legit as well or cheese, either way doesn't matter to me lol.

I joined a group one time that raided together on LFG. Everything went smoothly until templar. They insisted on going to right rock and using that strategy staying together. After multiple wipes, I said, "can you guys just stay up top and I'll run relic down here?" They said fine, but they had more success doing it down off the cliff and every time they tried to do that they had died. We did it first try with me on relic. That being said, the old push the templar off the cliff with grenades was a cheese. The bridge Crota strategy is a cheese, and having Crota stay on his knee is a cheese.

I do everything legit. but ill snipe oracles on hard from the top. Becuase most still dont know how to surive at the bottom on hard during oracle CP

5 RepliesIt's pretty bad when idiots say being up top is a cheese. What that tells me is the ones saying it is don't have any clue about the game and think only one strategy is valid. It's just sad some think that way.

We wipe and go up top because we don't feel like doing it 10 times because the randoms are dying, just for the randoms to leave and have to find new ones lol then there's the kids who will only sit up top, despite everyone being down and saying "we're not worrying about oracles so you're gonna die" *1 min later* "guys you didn't kill that oracle that's why I died!!!"

1 ReplyThat's not really a cheese rather as a strat. It's minor. Comparable to the Difference between left side strat and mid window strat for crota. And what we do is we all go down for confluxes until we finish it. When they're done, we go as far as we can during oracles as if we die I go down while everyone else snipes. Se on templar. First try I make everyone go down. After a first try they just snipe while I punch templar in the face with the shield cause -blam!- it.
