Basic English-Spanish Terms for Halo 3 Mulitplayer
We have been in this senerio before. You start a game of matchmaking, but some people on your team speack Spanish. You don't know what they are saying and can't communicate. Don't panic. I have made a list of things in Halo 3 that you can say in Spanish. If anyone has anything to add to the list feel free to post.

Spanish is my native tongue, and I find this list hilarious. There's nothing wrong with the translations, it's just that they're really formal, which would make it funny if I heard someone use these terms during a match.

Hmm, I think there should be a translation for spawn up there, so that you can point out location by weapon or object spawn points. Hmm, IIRC (If I remember correctly)... Mi lapiz esta ardiendo! Me gusta (this can be applied to several other terms): bano, biblioteca, sombrero, carne con qeso donde esta el bano donde estan los qesitos con carne y senoritas me gusta los hombres con carne y ninos I speak spanish and english fluently. I speak spanish as a second language, and as such I should advise you that you should keep your list very simple. Phrases like "cover me" and others like it may not translate directly. For instance, in "cover me's" case, I am skeptical that "Cúbreme" works idiomatically the same in spanish. You may just be telling someone to cover you with a blanket. Also, I bet you could verify your names for weapons possibly by switching the language on your xbox or something or looking online. They did translate the game into multiple languages, and I'll bet they translated weapon names. What we need is some native spanish speakers who play with others of the same sort to verify that callouts are similar in their language. "Gold room" (habitación de oro?) may mean nothing even though it's translated correctly.

No. If you speak spanish change your language filters so that you play with other who speak spanish. The language filters arent just there for boosting, beleive it or not.
