Thank you so much for every commeny guys! This is absolutely fantastic!
Seems like the Hive have the advantage for Visual Spookiness and Sadism while the Vex take the 2nd Place for Psychological Terror and the whole "I'll wipe you out of the existence" thing!
Also, it seems we can all agree that the Fallen are not spooky at all.
And that the Cabal can blow up things.
Edit 3: By the way, I voted Vex. If you want to know why, just read the "Ghost Fragment: Vex" Grimoire Cards. You will experience ontological hell.

Cabal, they blow planets up

Edited by Unholy Trinity Ghoul: 5/31/2015 9:29:31 AMThe Vex reminds me of two things... 1. The Terminator series. And we all know how that fight ended... With near complete extinction of almost all humans practically over night!! 2. The Matrix. If you've seen the matrix and know most of the story then you know why this is so terrifying!
-
Have any of you seen what the Cabal look like when you shoot their helmets off? They are like big monkeys, except with really sharp teeth and huge eyes! Seriously wierd.
-
Cabal……………… because they're 800 pounds and they're a freaking army
-
Cabal. Now I don't know if you've noticed this, but the final area in CERBERUS VAE II (The strike with Valus) that building you fight him in, is a giant flippin land tank.
-
Vex can straight erase you from existence.
-
Species are pretty bad. They look sexy. They -blam!- you. Then you die..... In a horrible way
-
In the Grimoire it is pretty much stated that Oryx can create his own universes so that definitely is scariest.
-
If the cabal were as big as they were depicted as in some of the concept art...
-
Hive without a doubt, they're just so primal and savage, closest thing to the flood from halo.
-
I can just imagine getting smacked by a Phalanx and flying 400 miles away.
-
Personally I would say the Fallen, we would be seeing those four armed freaks a lot more than the others. The Hive only have a small portion of their troops on Earth and as humans we wouldn't be going to the Moon or Venus to say hello to the Vex and we most probably wont be going to Mars for the Cabal. So for me defiantly the Fallen as you would see them almost everywhere you go so for me its the Fallen.
-
Definitely vex. They can make you never exist. Nothing is more scary than that.
-
The ghosts. Talking Rubiks cubes!! That's scary
-
The Hive are more or less confined to the moon. They have small portions of their forces on earth, but the Vex? Millions of time traveling, teleporting robots?? No way.
-
Time jumping robots? Yeah, -blam!- that.
-
Edited by TheCroatoan: 5/30/2015 5:03:41 AMThe Hive for sure... Have you seen the Thralls? Those leprosy bitches are scary AF The vex aren't that scary... They're machines after all so EMP their ass back the black garden
-
Vex because teleportation.
-
Vex resources and soldiers are unlimited as far as we know and can travel through time, no way you can beat that
-
Honestly I'm more afraid of fatass bullet sponge brute wannabes than magic zombies.
-
The Cabal would probably blow up Earth for getting in their way. I think we all know who wins.
-
Cabal are just war pigs nothing special Fallen are a once prosperous now savage race Vex are robot who apparently time traveling extremely smart robot and they seem pretty scary especially if you have read the grimoire and hive the most terrifying to me, they're a race who wants nothing more than destruction of all light and anyone who opposes them, engaging in dark rituals to crota who singlehandedly slew over a 1000 guardians
-
Probably Vex. They can think, and they're only mostly synthetic, but you can't reason with a machine and it's purpose. Any other race can be persuaded and manipulated.
-
I voted Vex because if I can't kill a Minotaur in-game with ease, then that monstrous, roaring, 10-foot tall behemoth of machinery is more than likely to rush me down and stab me to death. And then dance in my face.
I hate Minotaurs.
-
The cabal because let's just say they don't like things being in their way they will just blow the -blam!-ing earth up!

Fallen getting no love.... If you think the fallen aren't spooky, just imagine this: you are laying in your bed, sound asleep. Fallen chatter, at a near whisper, begins to wake you up. Your door creaks open. Now you are wide awake, heart pounding and adrenaline rushing, as you look to see who- or what, rather, opened your door. You see a figure, tall, muscular, and with four arms. The glow of his wire rifle allows you to see the atrocity that is the unmasked face of a fallen vandal. The vandal walks towards you, grabs you by the throat, and throws you to the ground. He could make your death quick and painless, but decides to go for something slower... He pulls out a short and serrated knife, that would normally be used by a Dreg. He then savagely hacks off your limbs, ignoring your blood curdling screams as he proceeds to disembowel you with countless slashes and strikes. You are left on the ground to bleed out, and the last things you'll ever see are your own organs and limbs strewn on the floor in front of you. The vandal takes everything of value from your house and departs, eager to please his Kell. You are nothing more to them than another victim, with more loot to plunder.
