So I just watched the cinematic trailer , it looks awesome
Never played skyrim but all my friends say it was such a great game
What do you guys think? Would any of you be leaving destiny for this game, I need to see gameplay footage first to see if I'll like it.
Edit
To whom ever bumped this thread , thanks for the attention but now all I'm getting is guild replies
PEOPLE STOP POSTING YOUR GUILDS
This post has nothing to do with your shitty guilds that no one wants to join so please make a separate thread and post your guild there
Edit 2
I posted this thread about 5 months ago I think. Eso wasn't even out yet on consoles and now that I've played it I've realized its not for me and its made me see how much I love destiny.
In my first 2-3 hrs of play all I did was boring fetch quests and die alot. After renting it I returned it the next day and now I'm thinking about it.
The game is so huge that it's overwhelming and ocd people like me that NEED to do EVERYTHING will not feel comfortable with this game cause you'll be worried about missing something.
It's a fun game but I still prefer destiny. It's too bad I don't wanna pay to play ffxiv cause I'm sure that I'd enjoy that a little more (I know its similar in content but I've never been a fan of the era eso is set in)

3 RepliesNot kidding, a single side quest arc that I've done in ESO has more story than all of Destiny
-
Why would you compare to vastly different games?
-
Whoops. Didnt know this post was a month old lol
-
Its nothing like skyrim as far as gameplay and physics. Its like playing world if warcraft except it has bethesda's looks. I have played it and it sucks. But thats my opinion. It was fun when it first came out but the fun didnt last long for me. You might as well try it though its free to play now instead of a Bullshit monthly fee they asked for when i played.

My friends are fighting over these exact two games.

3 RepliesESO = MMO RPG Destiny = FPS

2 RepliesI play Destiny but I am thinking of getting ESO. It looks like a lot of fun. If I get it im gonna join EbonHart pact. Nord 4 life

3 RepliesWhy does everybody feel the need to compare other games to destiny? We get it, Destiny wasn't very good. We can move on

I'm still doing that day one 15 gig update. Downloading at 30kb/s doesn't help. I started it on day one too.

2 RepliesIf you think destiny is a grind it's nothing compared to eso. Eso is huge and you'll never run out of shut to do. I've found destiny causes me a lot of stress where I find eso is just a game to relax on and never be in a hurry to get anything done.
-
4 RepliesDestiny win The destiny has no story but ESO has a terrible one
-
Eso is the business. I love elderscroll games and this puts me right at home. Lot of people are haters but I love it. I am glad it took a year to come to console helped work out all the bugs on pc. I've seen a lot of pc players that have ported over to on the battlefield. Ebon heart all the way

Edited by Davosdad: 6/15/2015 2:41:57 PMi play both. eso has alot of frame rate issues and has lots of different lurning curves(this coming from a skyrim veteran). the game has lots of simularities to past elder scrolls games, but branches away because of each classes meaning on the game(yea, there is a difference between a high and dark elf now!). picking your class depends on your playstyle unlike destiny and your future desisions affect your game expierience. one major problem is the small abbility trees that consist in each class. if u choose to play as a wizard, then u only get to use 3 skill trees that have about 5 skills. this error accurs with every class. this means that u will mostly be using the same skills all the way until u finish or quit the game. this can easilly be avoided if u create more charecters. the graphics this time around are not as great as the skyrim graphics, but are still visable and comepletly usable. the story forces you to explore the gigantic world of tamriel, almost ten times the size as skyrim in my oppinion! there is still a fast travel feature but u must pay money each time to travel to that location. most of the game consists of exploring witch means that u will want to have a horse. u will be onimatically rewarded one for buying some dlc or some pre order ??? but if u dont then u will have to buy the starting horse for 10,000 gold! this is a giant issue in my oppinion because there is such a vast horse upgrading tree that more than half of the players can not utilize right now! overall, this game desserves a chance and u and your freinds should buy it now, just make sure to be in the same faction ;)

5 RepliesDestiny eso sucks
-
Not "leaving" Destiny, it's mah FPS, but ESO is realy cool, tons more character customization/loot etc. (the stuff that keep you playing)
-
8 RepliesESO is exactly what the "next gen" consoles have desperately needed. For too long we've been sold half assed titles by way of amazing advertising.
-
Personally didnt like skyrim so destiny but halo 5 or battle front 3 will probs get me off destiny
-
7 RepliesSkyrim>witcher 3>alot of other games>eso>everything else>destiny
-
I love ESO, IMO it's a good buy.
-
3 RepliesI don't get all the hate directed at eso. Ive got a group of eight friends and we are having a blast with it. What am I missing?
