necrochasm OP in pvp
20 kills using the necrochasm. Went pretty positive with an under-rated weapon that people say isn't worth the exotic slot, well I beg to differ.

19 RepliesNo offense but you didn't get 20 kills with the necrochasm. You used shotgun grenades and nova bomb as well. The truth is, any auto rifle could have been used instead, with the same results. Necrochasm is not worth the exotic slot, as it doesn't have any qualities that make it more useful that any other auto rifle. Though your k/d remained positive, it doesn't mean that the gun is OP at all. Get a 10 kill streak using it, and then you can say it's OP.

Could've used last word and ttk would've been cut in half. Hawkmoon and it would've increased range. Vanquisher would've kept it full auto and let you increase your reach. The nechrochasm isnt worth the exotic slot in any case. It even sucks in arc burns. Fang and Oversoul are better. But it's not the fault of the gun, bungie needs to fix the 900 rpm auto Rifles and ARs in general. They absolutely blow now.

5 RepliesThat is a good example of decent talent. A below average gun in the hands of a good player can seem Like a beast even if it leaves something to be desired. Good job. I will give it a go in PvP but I doubt I'm that good with it.

2 RepliesEdited by Zoey: 3/27/2015 5:53:24 AMEven with the amazing stability, people underestimate it, I really wish I had it, I love using obscure weapons in PvP Edit: I saw 13 damage per headshot going on there, that being said, shouldn't take more than 20 bullets to kill if you're deadly accurate (20 body shots at 10 damage a shot should kill I guess), leaving another kill potential in the mag, why do people assume that multiple kills per mag aren't possible with this gun...

I needs more impact because the amount of ammo in each magazine is only good enough for 1 kill. If there's more than 1 person you'll have to play really smart with the cover

8 RepliesRangefinder is a beast, it's just sucks with the clip size in all honesty. You were reloading constantly, which was the downfalls to some of your deaths.

1 ReplyI use the necro once in a while. It's good at close range. Pump a target with bullets, Warlock melee to activate cascade, insta reload, repeat.
