Im a level 32 Hunter with Don't Touch Me, Radiant Dance Machines, and Mask of the Third Man. I highly recommend Don't Touch Me for raids, but Mask of the Third Man for vanguard or crucible. On my hunter subclass for bladedancer, I have hungering blade, which while i'm invisible, I can quickly melee and get health back. I also have almost(ALMOST) max agility, which people think wouldn't help, but man, when I need to escape an area, it helps like a rabbit with 5 feet legs. If you are ever in Crota's End, use "Razor's Edge" as your Arc Blade ability, as it allows a shock wave to traverse along the ground and kill anything in it's wake. In Vault Of Glass, Gunslinger is the recommended subclass. Oh, and, never use blink.

a good way is to use the blade dancer is to use the invisibility to your advantage and revive teammates that are usually impossible to get like during nightfall, later you will have a choose between hungering blade and another that i cant remember but hungering blade restores health for every kill and I use that in crucible and the other increases duration for every kill which is really helpful in Crotas end in the beginning and is more PVE oriented. but the blade dancer pretty much a sub class that can help in almost any situation.

Depends what are you going to be doing. If you're going to raid max you're invisibility with shadow jack, escape artist, vanish for your super and the don't touch me gaunlets. With those the first part of crotas end would be a breeze, still very helpful thought out the raid. Razor blade is very good since you can use it from afar and works very well with trhalls.

Three skills for the hunter that i recommend if your using blade dancer for the invisibility perks. You want to use Stalker, escape artist, and shadowjack. These along with the don't touch me's are a great set for the blade dancer.
