• Forums in general may have inaccurate ratings because users can create as many pages as they want

 • I'm going to take a guess and say that the way in which Bungie.net was evaluated was based upon: 1) How much activity it gets per pages. 2) How many pages are utilized fully. If that is true, then it is really inaccurate (imo) because Bungie.net holds more of a sentimental value to many of the fans than it does monetary.

 • Thats pretty good for a video game website and plus all their revenue is from the actual game. Holy Crap [Edited on 09.04.2008 9:44 PM PDT]

 • That can't really apply to Bungie.net because it's a forum. It has a ridiculous amount of new pages created every day so most users don't care or have the time to read them all.

 • I don't think I understand the concept. They look at some variables and pull a number out of the air? Is that supposed to be how much the site could potentially make annually with ads and stuff? How much somone would pay to buy it? Doesn't seem to actually mean anything to me.

 • It's worth your life. Being a member is one of the few ways to lower your chances of being used as a test dummy for the slingshot. So the real question is: How much is your life worth?

 • It just looks at the ratio of pages to people who go to it. Bungie.net has many pages, but most people only go to a few like the forums or news.
