I do not consider myself great at PVP. My guys are between 1.25 and 1.5 k/d. Then I was reading another post and somebody said anything under 2 k/d is garbage. What do you consider is a good k/d ratio.

I dint think it matters. I lag alot. But I have 1.86. But I no I van take out most guys. U find that the high kd players are campers. Check players combat rating. That normally shows a better skill set.

KD is not the most important. It can help when judging people. The most important thing is how well you do in game, covering teammates, capping and pushing key flags. Everything should be fine as long as you're earning more points for your team than you're feeding to the enemy's.

1 ReplyKD is such a stupid stat that people obsess over. I used to back when I played CoD, and then I realized that there's no point and now I actually enjoy matchmaking again
-
Honostly, 1.0+ If you go positive, even a little, chances are you helped our team more than you helped the other. And I can't complain about that.
-
2.0 is when you know your above average, 1.5 is and anything between is good and I'll play with that person any day. If your sub 1.0 bye bye
-
On this game 1-1.50 is good
-
As long as everyone on the team goes above 1.0, you win. In most cases.
-
As long as it ain't negative K/D like 0.0-0.9. 1.0 above Im fine

still over 2.0 even tho I dropped it quite a bit due to bounties n helping friends. so anything over me are decent or shotgun users
-
Edited by Dervish of Dawn: 3/30/2015 12:31:20 PMIf you're on my team I'm glad if you go above 0.5
-
Anything 1.0 and above is good for me.
#isuckmorethanafrenchwhore
-
1.7+ would be considered good.
-
To me, going positive is good.
-
The person who made that post was probably a hunter with last word and fentielers lie
-
As long as it's positive, you're good.
-
K/D is in the eye of the beholder.

I always play solo and am not a day 1er. Never played halo. Those are my excuses for not having a stellar k/d, but if I ran into anyone boasting about their stats nowadays it'd be a close battle
-
My hunter is 1.8 and most of it is from sniping, not blink shotgunning. I will say that my titan and warlock kdr's are horrendous though

7 RepliesEdited by Racebum: 3/27/2015 9:32:27 PMbeings the #1 player in the world is running a 3.8 with god only knows what kind of host/mods going on and a 1.2 puts you in the top 30% you may want to rethink your position are you talking top 10% top 20% etc. what is "good"
-
1 ReplyPlay the best teams and players if you manage 1 KDR you are v.good....hell even 0.5 KDR would have you better than the average player Play random noobs while in a full squad using in chat all using the OP crap and get 2 KDR you are not that good (pubstar) Depends on how you get it, and even then who cares this is public games we are talking about, not really competitive...you want to see that look at the Destiny PS4 tournament...
-
As long as you're playing the objective, isn't anything above a 1 k/d helping your team?
-
I'm at like a 1.5 - 1.75 according to destiny tracker that's top 10%
-
Competitive destiny ~_~

This question is somewhat useless because everyone will say their personal k/d is a good k/d.
