Currently I'm holding three exotic bounties, for thorn, invective, and bad juju. I've gotten them all to the crucible step so I decided to play a few crucible games last night. I stink at crucible, rarely go there unless my friends want to play it, but I figure I can suffer and get these bounties done and go back to playing PVE like I want to. So I play about 7 games of control and my Bad Juju progress is going up steadily (~2000 of 10000, in like 7 games that's pretty bad but I accept the fact I suck in crucible and I don't care). Then I check the other two bounties and they are like 10 of 500 for Thorn and 2 of 25 for Invective. Ok, a little slow, so I start another game of control and just get dominated by a group of guys that play as a team and probably play crucible all the time. Now I'm back to 0 of 500 and 0 of 25. This is the stupid part about these bounties, if they were set up like the one for Bad Juju, I could just accept the fact that I'm gonna have to just get my ass handed to me over the course of 40-50 games, but that I would eventually get there. But the only way I feel like I'll ever get the Thorn or Invective is to cheat and get some friends to play rumble and just let me kill them over and over again (I'm looking on the recruitment page for people who do that after this). I don't care about getting killed or having to take my licks in the crucible, I just think it's ridiculous that you require someone to be good at it to claim an exotic bounty. The story mode steps you could always get a friend to help (like to kill Xyor), but in the Crucible some of us are beyond help. Only way to help is let someone kill you over and over and that's no fun for anyone. Please make all the bounties more like bad juju. I don't care if it takes me 100-200 matches where it would take a good player 20-30. I just want to feel like I'm making progress, no matter how slow Edit Update- I finished these bounties. I wrote this like a month ago while I was utterly frustrated with crucible. Eventually I got the Word of Crota and decided to give it another chance. After a handful of matches I really started to get the hang of it and then something clicked and now I love crucible. I might not be the best, but I can hold my own now and enjoy the battles Anyone reading this that felt like I did, you can do it. I was complete garbage at crucible and I eventually figured it out. And from this thread I found that there are a lot of helpful guardians out there that will do what they can to assist you. Thanks Guardians! And good luck to those that were in the same boat I was
