There's a unique ending to the game that grants you with an exotic version of The Stranger's rifle. I've yet to complete the steps properly, but I've heard of it being done. The rifle is an absolute beast. First, you must beat the entire game, start to finish, only using The Stranger's rifle. You must start a new character, and use a spawn glitch to level him up to level 15 within the first level (it's super easy to do, but you must not fire the Khodtov even once!) Then use the companion app to send this character The Stranger's Rifle. Finish this mission without using any other gun. You must then complete the entire campaign on heroic, without dying, without using melee again or throwing a grenade, without using a super, and without firing a single shot with another weapon. If you shoot with a different gun or die you must instantly turn off your console for 10-15 minutes to clear your cache and start over with a new character. Every time you are about to see the stranger (I.e before the cutscene) you must dance briefly. If the animation doesn't start before the cutscene you must instantly turn off your console for 10-15 minutes to clear your cache and start over with a new character. Finally, when you get to the final fight, you must defeat all three Sol's in exactly seven minutes and seven seconds (Bungie and their sevens..) this will spawn 4 other Sol's with blue health bars (meaning they are Mythic, not heroic.)
