The question is: Does PvP take more skill than PvE in Destiny? You can vote and post you don't have to read my arguments although I recommend you skim through them. My arguments
PvP absolutely takes more skill that PvE. It is much harder to kill a team of humans that have largely unpredictable patterns and potentially better weapons than mobs who have predictable programming who never adapt to a situation or strategy. And which plans have been devised that work Everytime. Not to mention cheeses. You can't cheese PvP. Some may argue, "Go solo Crota and tell me if its hard." You don't have to solo Crota. Bungie gave you a team, like they give PvP players a team. Soloing Crota would be like taking on a 6 man team in control by yourself (I've tried, I'd rather try to solo Crota). The people who have soloed Crota have a formula, a pattern that works because the AI doesn't adapt. They don't see things coming and do the same things over and over and over again. It takes timing, but not skill per-say. For those of you who say their stats are bad because they don't play: don't post here simple as that. For those of you that say all you need is bad connection: I've only witnessed this once in all my months of PvP. My wifi is terrible, if I get through three jobs of gta 5 online I consider myself lucky. Everytime I look at my wifi bar it's low and red. With that being said, I experience very little lag so you just might want to check your connection. For those of you that say it's unbalanced: it's not, you just need to adapt. If you know there's a trigger happy blinker than you don't want to run around every corner and back up when you see red. This isn't call of duty, run and gun won't work here as well as it will in Call of duty. For those of you that say you only play for bounties: you have no business here then. Move along. Raids do take a little bit of coordination and communication. I would know I've done a number of raids and do atleast 6 a week. And up to 12. So I know how raids work.
Also, hats off to you gentlemen who are good at both! You are the true Guardians. For the slower students who need things drawn out in bold for them, The question is does PvP take more skill (or is more difficult to master) than PvE? Please in your arguments take PvE in as a whole. PvE is much more than raids. It's story missions, nightfalls, strikes, and weeklies. Using raids as an example is fine but those seem to be the only arguments against PvP. Also, please be respectful, go drink your coffee before you post so that your not so grumpy and calling fellow guardians morons. Yes we are looking at you Uncle Steve -_- Edit: This whole post was revised on March 16, 2015 for clarity. People don't camp in the crucible. If you played it you'd know that. NO ONE CAMPS. Your thinking of call of duty Edit: Just got Gjallahorn, extremely happy
