Because this isn't a Halo-type game. This is an MMO that constantly changes.

First of all, Destiny is nowhere near MMO status. 16 players max in tower, 3 max on strikes, 12 max in pvp, 6 max in raids, and a 3 person max fireteam in patrol, is far from MMO standards. And constantly changing?????? The only thing changing are the updates through which Bungie has been finishing the game they called complete upon launch. The game world never changes. The spawns never change. The scenery never changes. FFS you go kill a mob and the same damn ones reappear after about 40 seconds or so. Nothing here is a "constantly changing" world. Come out of the box already

Its still an MMO. You can go to a patrol area and run into literally thousands of possible people.

Still has a lobby. Still has open areas. It may not be huge but its still there. Its undeniable to say this isn't an MMO, especially with how Bungie has laid out the games in sections.. Almost like WoW..

It's not a MMO. You don't run into thousands of people in patrol. The most you'll get is 3 going to a strike.

It's an fps rpg with mmo qualities but definitely not an mmo. The tower is limited to 16 people, missions/strikes are limited to 3 and raids are limited to 6, and open world areas Idk the number but not a lot. There aren't dedicated servers... Need I go on?
