Vex mythoclast still good?
Is it worth levelling up? And useing in pvp/pve? Thanks
Edit 1: after playing with it in pvp all afternoon, I think it is a great gun and lots of fun to play with, the fact that everyone's saying its ass now is because they are comparing it to what it was and not what it is now, as of now I think the range could be improved but other than that I love it :)

Yes. 323 attack is only 8 below the current standard. It's dos is higher than most if not all other primary weapons.

They nerfed it twice and buffed it once in between the nerfs so ya it's kinda losing its edge now. Plus ammo is an issue in pve it runs out fast and doesn't drop as much as it should.

It's worth leveling up, sure. I generally bring it to Crota but it's fun on other content. I did stop leveling it when I finished the bounty for Bad Juju but once that's maxed I'll finish off the Vex.

2 RepliesI didn't have it before 1.1.1 so I don't know but did they -blam!- up the accuracy or what? I can be like 10feet away from someone with the red dot right on his face and the gun is shooting left, right and everywhere else except where the red dot is!!!!! So frustrating

As others have mentioned, it's not near as good as it used to be. Mainly due to so many pvpers crying it was too op. It's still decent, I still use it often as my go to gun.

1 ReplyIt's a shell of its former self. Still viable in some situations but not half as good as what it used to be. I really don't see what the point is of having raid exotics is if all bungie is going to do is turn them into crap.

4 RepliesIt's ok, very inconsistent. Seems to melt other players in seconds and other times hits don't even register. Like literally you shoot a player, watch the bullet hit and nothing happens. Very annoying. When it works it's amazing though.

Unlike most Exotic Primaries, or primaries in general, it deals full damage to Majors/Ultras instead of reduced damage which gives it its own little niche to play in. It's stuck at 323 which sucks, but it's not as bad as being stuck at 300 (Looking at you, other VoG weapons.) Crowd Control makes up for the loss of ATTACK to be honest. The nerf pretty much made Send It mandatory since they messed up the spread of the bullets though.

I use it on Anomaly & maybe lamp section of Crota but those are he only places I'd use it... The range is an absolute joke now. Even on anomaly it sucks just outside of "the sniper" felwinters lie range. It used to be a wrecking machine but jut sucks balls now :( sad sad day

I don't really use it anymore. It used to be really, really good in PVE, but now it's average. Still very usable though.

That thing is garbage now! Which makes me happy because you NEVER see it in the crucible anymore :)
