Thorn bounty waaaay too hard for this bad pvp player
Stuck at 99 out of 500 all day can't seem to make any progress. Have atheons epilogue void shotgun and maxed corrective measure...been at this bounty for two days...suggestions? Thoughts? Give up and abandon the bounty?
Edit: thanks to everyone who offered tips and instruction for my bad PVP skills thanks to some new friends I made this morning and to my new clan the Lucky Bullet Club for playing control with me and helping me get the 500!!!! Bring on Xyor!! Thanks everybody!!

1 ReplyPlay rumble run felwinters lie and Athens epilogue and jolders hammer (all void damage) if you get atleast 24 kills and 10 deaths you will have that part of the bounty done within 6 games

1 ReplyTook me 14 control games total. Word of crota, void trolly problem and truth. I hated Pvp and avoided this bounty for ever and rage dropped it twice. I did it on my hunter so I didn't get the benefit of void grenades. After you learn the game modes its easy.

Thorn bounty is the ONLY time I personally believe it's excusable for players to spam fusion rifles, specifically the void fusion rifles.

1 ReplyI started on 0 last Saturday, stayed up all night in IB and got to around 400, then finished up the next night. Weapons used were: Word of Crota, a void Longbow Synthesis and Corrective Measure, but use whatever you're comfortable with. Another tip is to play control; it's easier to locate enemies as they'll be capping/defending flags. Most importantly, know where heavy ammo spawns on all the maps, and as soon as you hear the prompt that it's coming, turn tail and run there. Good luck :)

Camp a control point with a void fusion rifle. Always stay crouched.

I'm bad at pvp and it took 12 matches I think. Use a green fusion if u have to. It allows u to be better than ur skill. Have a void heavy and camp by the heavy drops and try being as sneaky as possible. Flank your enemies as much as possible. Also follow your teammates and play clean up.

I tend to play control for it, i will leave a match if certain things happen to avoid too much progress loss.

9 RepliesCos you suck. jk. Got the bounty done in 11 games. Play skirmish. It's so much easier on skirmish provided you're actually decent at pvp. Not sure why people say it's hard when the strike is more difficult lol.

I've completed two other exotic Bounties and had no progress on this one. The Crucible Exotics are awful.
