Iron Banner rank 5 on two characters AMA
Played constantly fighting lag, scrublord team-mates, tea-baggers, cheap kills, weasel errors, caterpillar errors, getting kicked offline, rep grinding, bounty grinding, and salty players since Tuesday. I came out with a 1.62 K/D on my hunter and a shiny new felwinters, and Gheleon's demise to end the Iron Banner for me. Its been a tough run folks, but it just made me a better crucible player. Cheers.

I just can't stand playing crucible. I don't know what it is, but I despise it. I wish I could get into it so I could play the iron banner (highest I've ever gotten is rank 2) but I just don't have the willpower to do so.

I would have aimed to get to level 5 if the weapon was worth buying. Impact is ridiculously lol

I could not mentally force myself to do one more single game after that. Bought the Cloak and Jooooldar Hammer and that was it for me. Now I have to detox from Pvp till the next IB. :)

I started Iron Banner at 11pm Saturday from scratch with my new Titan and hit Rank 4 Sunday at 10pm (don't care for lvl 5 as I have everything already with my Hunter) - Only question I have, Did you get a Mark of the Unbroken medal in Iron Banner? I did. lol jk - Good job, IMO IB gear is more respectable because what you have to get through in order to buy, not just actually playing but the glimmer farming grind to buy everything.

1 ReplyI really didn't think it was that bad, aside from dealing with the idiotic team mates who would cap the third point on a map when we were whooping ass, only to have all hell break loose after. On the other hand, when I had good team mates I would go 25/11 (which is good for me) and we would control all three points for 3/4s of the match which was a blast!
