Why do you run with a shotgun?
Really, why the -blam!- do you people do it. It's what got it nerfed in the first place yet you still do it? WHY? All you're doing is trolling. Is that really why you do it? If so then gtfo

Because all the maps are easily played close range scrub.

Is that why you have 2/3 oh your characters with shot guns equipped?

No trolling is lowering your character to a level 20 and using a fully maxed out thorn and fully upgraded subclasses. That's a troll. Using a shotgun is a style of play.

It's effective for close encounters in both PvP and PvE. Fusion rifles are even more effective (in PvP) if you are good at anticipating players next move (due to charge times) and play more of a mid-range style.

I use shotguns because I've always favored up close and personal fights in this game. I want to embody that which a Titan is supposed to be. A "Blunt force instrument of the Traveler's will". Also, nothing better than killing a Sunsinger, having them self-res, and them putting them right back in the ground.

I just finished a match up with one because being killed by all the other shotguns was getting annoying. Ended up at the top of the team and winning the match. I hate shotguns.

I run with a shit gun because it fits my play style run and gun. If you don't like it then find a better way to kill me. If you can't do that then deal with it.

1 ReplyI don't, I find that when I use a shotgun I play more wreckless. When I play with a sniper or fusion rifle I play way more careful and the more careful I play the better I play

Since the Nerf shotguns are harder to use, you actually have to be skilled at closing the distance between you and your target without dying if u wanna get kills while running around (not camping). Seriously, if you're still dying to shotties all the time, try positioning yourself in a way that benefits your weapon and shuts down shotgun runners i.e: long sight lines, don't run into the fray, ect.
