MISSIVE: Cripple Vex chain of command by going to Mercury and eliminating an advanced Axis Mind
RAID PT. I: 6 guardians land on Vex ruins on the planet Mercury. The Vex have been absent from Mercury a while, but Precursor Vex still remain. Upon the start of this raid, you and your 5 other guardians must take turns opening up a Vex portal. Much like the bridge encounter, except there's only one sync plate only one of you can go in at a time. The guardians at both ends must face Precursor Vex. The portal will only allow 1 guardian through at a time as well. Once all guardians are through, the raid continues.
RAID PT. II: After all guardians are safe on the other side, they come across a cave called the Cradle of Time. Upon entering, the entrance to the Vex cave closes as a wall generates behind your fireteam. In the center back of the room, a Cyclops by the name of Unum spawns. Guardians must pick up a new relic called a shield and use it to deflect oncoming projectiles from Hobgoblins, Harpies, Goblins, and Minotaurs. When the Shield-bearers super energy maxes out, they can use it to create a massive shield which their fireteam can hide behind. Think of a Ward of Dawn, except cut in half to where the massive shield, Unum will shoot at the massive shield, and the shield-bearer must deflect the projectiles back at him. Enemies can still hit you from behind. Once Unum takes enough damage, he will die, ending the first mini-boss.
RAID PT. III: Continuing on, you travel through pathways defeating multiple forms of Vex types, ranging from Hobgoblins to Hydras. Eventually you come across an area called a labyrinth. Teamwork and communication are important here, as some of the labyrinth walls have the ability to dematerialize as well as many dangerous high-leveled Vex. A new type of Vex enemy called Pythoracanem (Death Hounds) chase you and your fireteam throughout the maze, until you get to the center sync plate, which beams you up into the air into the final boss room.
RAID PT. IV: You and your team is sent up to the final boss room. It's rectangular in shape, and very large. A small lip sticks out around the area, and Vex Hobgoblins begin to spawn. After standing on a summoning plate, 3 players will be teleported to different areas of time (sound familiar) to destroy Power Matrices which give the boss strength. There are 10 of them. After defeating 7of them, the players are teleported back and the boss spawns. It is a massive Vex Harpy, almost nearly 3x the size of a regular one, and it glows red. The name of the Harpy is Apodei, and he has a lock on beam of red starfire that instakills everything. The shield spawns, and your team must be able to coordinate a defemse plan. The strat is the same with Unum, raise the shield to deflect the red beam back at the boss. Your team must be wary of the Hobgoblins that spawn on the lip on the room. Once Apodei is killed, the Raid ends, and the whole team gets great loot.
DETAILED EXPLANATION
Mission description: The black garden was just the beginning...
Part I: Objective: Enter the Cradle. Your team spawns in on Mercury. You see a sync plate and a Vex Timegate. It is surrounded by Precursor Vex. You have to open the gate, and get your whole team through while being attached by the precursors. The gate closes every time someone goes through or after two second of being open. Once everyone is through, the Vex freeze.
Part II: Objective: Destroy Unum. Walking amount the Vex Statues, you see the mouth of a cave. You enter the cave, and a wall materializes, blocking escape. Before you, there is a large, circular cavern. There are pillars scattered around it, and rock mounds as well. You then see 'The Aegis' (relic). Once you pick it up, your screen starts to shake, and a giant Cyclopes spawns. It is called Unum, The Watcher. The relic has a heavy attack (rt), light attack (rb), and you can throw grenades. It's super is: it summons a ward of dawn-like thing that deflects all enemy fire back at the enemy. The back of the "ward" is left open. Unum can only be damaged by his own fire. Every 25% of his health, he summons a battalion of major hobgoblins. Continue until he is dead. He will drop the gloves for the armor set, and the auto rifle as well in hard.
Part III: Objective: Navigate the Maze. After Unum is dead, a door will appear. Once you go through it, a maze appears and the door disappears. After 7 seconds, phythoracanem will spawn at the beginning. They move at the speed of a full agility Hunter walking with mida. They have a one shot meele attack. There are three chest hidden in the maze, as well as the exotic chest. Once you get out of the maze, the next part happens.
Part IV: Objective: Commence the Rite of Summoning. You step out of the maze into a large, square, room. There is a lip running around the edge, with cover scattered around it. There are platforms around the room, and at the center, about 30 meters apart, are two sync plates. At this point, players will be given the distinction of "Past Summoner" or "Future Summoner". One of the plates is for past summoners, one is for future. If you stand in the wrong plate for more than 2 seconds, you die. If you touch a summoners of the other type, you both die. Summoners types can switch randomly. Hold both plates for three minutes from the vex. This will drop the chest piece, and on hard, the hand cannon.
Part V: Objective: Stop the Birth of Apodei. At this point, Apodei is summoned. Players are teleported to an area full of vex, and must destroy "power matrices" to limit Apodei's power. There are ten. After destroying seven, a message flashes "Apodei is at full strength", and you are teleported back to the summoning room. This drops boots, and on hard, the scout rifle.
Part VI: Objective: Destroy Apodei. Once you are back in the room, someone is randomly given the relic. Apodei is a really big harpy, with a shield and he changes colors about every 30 seconds. He has a beam cannon to kill you, and his shield can only be damaged by his own beam. Once his shield is down, there is a period of about 10 seconds to do damage. Goblins and harpies spawn constantly. The color he is corresponds to the type of elemental burn he will take damage from. He will always take kinetic damage. He will drop the helmet, all secondaries and heavies (besides the pen), and in hard, has an increased chance of stoping the helmet, drops the pulse rifle, and the pen.
Venture Through the corridors, into the "Arena of Cerberus" a giant open area with cover that has opening for weapon fire. The door at the end will open revealing the "Squad of Cerberus" 5 Ultra minigunners with Skull level. The Arena than has legionnaires dropping in to support them, The holes in the cover will not protect you from rocket or grenade fire, and the Thick air within the tank reduces solar damage by 45% from all sources. 1 ReplyWhat about the cheeses?
-
2 RepliesPart one is easily cheese able. Let one person in. Let 4 on the other side die. Now only two need to enter the portal.

1 ReplyLabyrinth sounds dope.. I bet with the crazy graphics PS4 is capable of it would look stunning.. It should have moving parts (Think Hogwarts Staircases) to prevent people from memorizing the maze itself alternate routes to the chests n such
-
3 RepliesBoring...

2 RepliesWay too similar to VOG. Mini-boss, labyrinth, teleporting to different times, etc. its technically different but I think you drew too many similarities to VOG
