This is why i hate Iron Banner
Please Bungie give us some form of skill based matchmaking, i shouldnt have to struggle to carry a team and still get beaten. Literally no one else in my team got above 1.0 KD jesus christ
Edit: my point isnt about me, its my team, it was their deaths who gave the team points while i defended zones and kept my deaths to a minimum..

I play solo most of the time and have learnt to expect not to win as I usually get matched with potatoes. I still enjoy the challenge of playing solo more than pub stomping though.

12 RepliesWow looks like you've gotten a lot of replies. So sitting back with a sniper rifle in destiny control...it basically made your team 5v6 the other. Possibly you only died twice because the other team (correctly) assumed you're not too much of a threat if all you're doing is sniping. (Seriously , outside of an organized team strategy, being a dedicated sniper is a very selfish way to play.) The guy on the bottom of the list is the only teammate making winning hard. Everyone else is contributing and you're not really helping them from your sniper perch. You're picking off strays here and there. Consider that without these teammates on the front lines going into zones outnumbered (contributing to their low k/d and caused in part by your sniper mentality) those enemies would have been in your face a whole lot more. And then one of them might be here complaining about having to carry you instead. So in short, yeah you had a gaudy 11.0 for a game, but big deal. I'd take your teammates over you for IB any day. (Well minus the bottom two lol)

I agree, no matter what you play like in crucible, matchmaking needs an overhaul. 6 randoms should not be matched with a full fireteam.

2 RepliesEveryone deals with this. Everyone who plays in the Iron Banner. You're not special and your situation isn't unique. This goes with the territory when playing in the Crucible. We all know PVP in this game is a mess. Deal with it.

But standing back with a sniper, avoiding control zones but still keeping an eye on them for enemies, [b]isn't[/b] helping your team. And it definitely isn't challenging to have a high KD ratio. You say you defended zones yet you had 0 ..? Your overall KD in all crucible game types isn't bad at all, but definitely nothing overly impressive ([i]especially[/i] in comparison to the KD you're advertising here)
