Why crucible for most exotic bounties
Ok first off this is a old post so if you are just going to post comments about crying or whining move on no one wants to hear it thanks Take invective 25 kills or assists more that deaths bad juju 10000 kill points in crucible the really annoying thorn bounty 500 void kills deaths take away progress I had this bounty for over two months now I hate crucible the whole death bs makes it where don't even want to do it everytime I do 1 bad match screws it up I eventually just deleted it since I hate that lame crucible I see no point in it but these bounties force you to run crucible just so you know I do have thorn (took changing weapons n tactics to achieve) bad juju invective super good advice pocket infinity on all three of my characters except thorn only one I did once since I really dread crucible

Honestly they aren't hard. I think that if you can't complete them, you don't deserve them. That's the point of exotic bounties, you complete tasks. They aren't from RNG or Xur like the rest.

1. Wall of text not fun to attempt to decipher. 2. Lack of punctuation more unpleasant than trite mewling complaints. 3. If you put half as much effort into crucible as you do in farming Crota ad nauseam you'd have all the bounty guns and probably a 1.0 kdr In PvE skill: equal RNG reward... Exotic bounty PvP skill: equal direct reward. Heaven forbid you get a fire team together for crucible if you are lacking. Might make new friends. Honestly I could probably go on and on throwing out these common sense ideas. Yet it is likely a waste of time.

They're not even hard. For thorn, you get 5 points for a void kíll and -2 points for a death. This means your Kd only had to be like a 0.65 to be making progress. For invective, your assists go towards your 25 kill death spread so that's easy too. For bad juju, deaths don't matter.

Imo is fine as it is especially thorn bount it took me a few months and grind for the right weapons but I finally done it.

I'm happy with PvP exotic bounties, it actually makes me feel like I earn it (after you find the bounty of course) and not have it all be luck based.

We all went through this grind to get Thorn, and now you must suffer too. Whether you like it or not, this weapon has a reputation, and anyone that has it deserved it.

Thorn requiring void is the only real problem with them. Unless you are lucky to have Aetheon's Epilogue (which I doubt is the majority) only special & heavy kills even count towards it. As a hunter it isn't enough to have a positive k/d. It has to be with no melee, no grenade, & no primary weapon. If only Void deaths counted against you this would be fair, but all deaths mess you up.

2 RepliesI think if you have a warlock with the torn bounty it would be easy but if you have a hunter a bit harder I have it with my hunter and I suck at curcible I can't complete it help

1 ReplyI used to agree, back when I was doing that shitty void pvp thing. Fast forward months later, and I have a negative k/d, but also have invective and juju, and just need to pop xyor. Pvp can be painful and annoying, not my forte and not always fun - but I can see exactly why those bounties are the way they are. I didn't enjoy it, but wouldn't change it either. Glad I earned them, proud scrub!
