Does skipping checkpoints affect your loot?
For example, if I finish bridge, and then join a different group at Crota. Will I get just shards from Crota? Because that's been happening to me an awful lot! Is it because I'd skip the cp, or am I just unlucky?!

I skipped to atheon and got gjallarhorn so I don't think it matters

Sample size is so low it's statistically irrelevant, but the 2-3 times I've run hard from beginning to end I've pulled 4-5 exotics. Never gotten one doing it piecemeal.

I always skip around on check points and i get exotics still. So i dont think it matters.

Probably unlucky I skipped all of it went straight to a crota cp and got the crux of crota

I've hopped into Crota CP's without having done any of it sometimes. Got a Word one time, so... Rng?
