Question of Etiquette: On a raid fireteam, do I use someone’s real name if I know it?
Or do I only use their GamerTag?
I was playing with a friend yesterday and used his real name. He texted me mid-raid and called me an asshole for breaking some gamer code or something. Was I out of line for calling him a paranoid douchebag? (the paranoid part, he has earned the douchebag for other reasons)
Edit: Now he is telling me that using his name "takes him out of the experience". I told you he was a d-bag.

I always use real names if I know them. If my raid team had to bring a random in, we would even say all of our names to the person and learn theirs. There's no code. Your friend is an idiot.
