Iron Banner is unplayable...
Seriously, every single game I'm against a 6 man party that stick together the whole time, use the most OP weapons and stay in a corner of the map camping the whole match. And well I don't mind loosing a couple of matches, but when accumulate the 5 possible medals there is no point on staying on games anymore (I went 20 minutes trying to find a match where there were no parties at all, and even then you don't know if you are going to win. Bungie needs to fix this, they need to add either a limit to the number of people that can play along in a party, or create a separate playlist where no parties are aloud. WHY DONT YOU PLACE PARTIES AGAINST PARTIES BUNGIE?? WTF!!!!!!!!!
Of course Im not interest on running a full 6 man party. I know Im good at the game I'm not ranting because I suck, but because the game is unfair.

3 RepliesIf I notice my team will be an epic fail I try to make the opposing team's life as difficult as possible. I do the following: Use super on them when they trying to get heavies. Them dance. Find the guy camping in the back and sneak around to kill him. Then dance Switch to truth... Camp and wait for there mg users and blast them. Then Dance. Dance after big kills. Tbag after normal kills. (Believe it or not I've had guys get so pissed they forget about winning and just try to hunt me down for revenge.) Most of all be as cheap as possible to throw off their rhythm.

Honestly, I back out if there's a full team and 6 randoms. It rarely works out. However, I have been in a random group and beat full teams before. Usually clans all decked out for Crota

8 RepliesBeen playing it the past couple of days averaging like a .7 :(. Running with nechro and hard light lol. Have yet to accumulate more than 3 medallions. And more than 2 is terrible. Figure out your gun man. That's all you need.

It seems like in every game that I've played today, the is always one or two players that are next to impossible to bring down. And Bungie wonders why their PVP gets so little play from the majority of the community...

2 RepliesI am in complete agreement with this, I also want to be able to fairly win a game in the iron banner. But I do not want to play against people who want to win so badly that they resort to teaming up, using communication, strategy and exercising an adequate amount of game knowledge to use weapons more suited for pvp gameplay than others in order to win. Even though what they are doing doesn't violate any sort of rules whatsoever, I feel the same as the OP that this is truly unfair!!!

This is why I just do the bountys each day and gtfo If u start on tues u can be 5 now without too much trouble I've won most games think I'm just lucky I guess. Had some bad stretches Thursday but the rest of week been pretty solid.

I haven't run into a full party all nigbt and I've been playing for the last 5 hours. I've run into a few 3 man parties thst end up gettin paired with a party of 2 against me and all randoms. If you see a full party back out dude. I'll win a couple lose a couple or 3, win again and repeat. I've played for only the last day and half, and I've hit rank 3 a little while ago. And let me just mention that I suck, I've only been able to complete 3 of the iron banner bounties each day. Same ones. Have won after snagging 4 to 5 medallions a couple times and seeing all that rep at once is sweet, although had they all been wins it would have been more cumulatively. Keep at it man, if you have to play defensively so be it, patrol an area and claim it as yours to hold down use team chat - at least 1 other person usually switches to team chat. Work out a protect ya neck strategy.

Minor quibble but if their whole team is actually camping in the corner of the map like u say, shouldn't that be an easy win? Seriously tho matchmaking should always pit fireteam against each other but it rarely does. Only positive to going up against a 6 man fireteam with all randoms is the great feeling of satisfaction if u win.

The best way to beat a party of 6 is to go to the recruitment forum and join a party yourself.
