Personally I could care less but if you stay in the hallway it can turn into an hour long strike.
A full hour so one guy can get Gally, the other Suros and I get strange coins again?
I'll be heading for the little room, thanks.

-blam!- no. She a bitch like SataNG. I put that there so yall could rail her with yalls light

1 ReplyIt not cheese, cheese suggests you are doing something the game mechanics deem wrong, i.e knocking Atheon off edge or jumping across the gap on the bridge PC in CE. That little room is open for use its no different than standing in the room at the start and fighting off waves and taking pot shots at Omnigul, it may be a little easier but doesn't qualify as cheesing

31 RepliesBack in my day, using map design, strategy and your brain to defeat a boss was called 'intelligent play'.
-
3 RepliesLol I got 7 Ass Energy and Time on Target. This is my 3rd shitty nightfall week in a row.
-
1 ReplyWhy else would they put the room there?
-
1 ReplyIt's not cheese because it's not a glitch spot
-
2 Repliesits more of a strategy then a cheese.
-
I find it more of a strategy rather than a cheese
-
The strike itself is a troll with the way she moves around up there on that platform so while I don't even know of said cheese I honestly don't blame any one that cheese it.
-
3 RepliesUntil they address the Wizards going full auto with their special wizard hands nonstop, I'll be in that room.

1 ReplyEdited by Ohh Haro Der: 3/22/2015 1:48:45 AMNo it isn't. And I don't see why anyone needs it, just did it 15 minutes ago and the fight took 10 minutes tops with no wipes, at most two were down at once. If you're not dumb then you can stay alive easily in the hallway
-
It's kinda cheesy I assume, sometimes I hang out in it, sometimes I dont

1 ReplyEdited by jjab2034: 3/22/2015 2:54:17 AMIt's not cheese, but it's annoying as hell if a teammate is alone over there and he keeps dying.
-
1 ReplyI consider a cheese as using finding some way to break the "physical bounds of the game" such as glitching in areas and suck. Jumping up on a rock to hide from thrills, no cheese. Flying off a lamp to a higher elevation , no cheese. Hiding behind rocks to not take damage, no cheese.

2 RepliesNot a cheese, an exploit.

1 ReplyI got an exotic shard that cleverly disguised itself as a Plan C. I wasn't fooled though

Anything extra can help it feel like a proper strike. I hate how its like "fight from this hallway with 2 doors or die." I rate omnigul strike 6/10, its awesome all the way up to the boss fight, then its stupid.

One shot murmur takes shield down switch to thunderlord and pow! Good chick of health down.
-
1 ReplyI don't even know why people would use the room. It takes way longer. Especially if there's a burn. She's dead in minutes.
-
Little room is lame and omnigul can move out and wipe the team. The hall doesn't take long if you're packing a long range arc load out. Like a 5-7 min fight at best

11 RepliesEdited by harrymfa: 3/21/2015 2:34:00 PMI used the room in the no-burn week, but my current strategy is faster. We clear the ADDs, then, like in a raid, shoot rockets at her at the same time until she screams. When she screams, we fall back to the entry, clear the ADDs and repeat. The advantage of using the entry as a place to fall back is that it doesn't have an enemy spawning behind you, like the Minotaur on the Nexus, the Shrieker on Phogoth, nor whatever it is on Valus.
-
Nope. If bungie didn't want you in there they wouldn't have made the room accessible
-
If it takes you an hour, you're bad. The nightfall never took me longer than 25 minutes and all of us stayed in the hallway.
-
2 RepliesNo. It's just a strategic spot. The Wizards can still come over and screw your world over with splash damage.
-
Kinda a cheese in sense that you kinda have "infinite" life..but to me the progress might be slower than just camping hallway
