Hello, Good People. This is my first chapter for Project Omega, this is a bit of a slow chapter nothing serious goes down, I just want to see some feedback. Thanks for reading. It was an ordinary day in the Tower. Guardians were collecting and returning bounties to Xander 99-40, there were people getting their guns fixed by Banshee-44 and people were getting ascendant materials from their legendary engrams. That was until the Hive attacked. Their ships as black as the night came and hovered above the towers main entrance, dropping lots of Acolytes and Thralls. A guardian rushed towards the dropship, weapons raised. Her name was Sukiru, she was 6 foot 8 inches, her armour was a mucky white with lots of scratches. She fired her Doctor Nope at the Acolytes and Thralls being dropped, killing most of them with shots to the head. When she had killed all the enemies that had dropped from the ship, two more came in fast. All the guardians then rushed in to help. There was only one guardian not outside helping. His name was Vergessen, he wasn't helping because his teammates got corrupted by the darkness. He was 7 foot 4 inches and wearing jet black armour, recently polished. He was sitting in the hallway to the docking stations for the ships. He heard footsteps, he turned his head right to see Amanda Holliday walking towards him. "Hey Ver, are you going to help with the fight?" She asked. He noticed she had a strange looking rocket launcher strapped to her back. She noticed him staring and said "This is a little project of mine, it is designed to take out any ship in one rocket." "Great, why don't you go try it then?" Vergessen asked rudely. "I was going to give it to you" She said, pulling the rocket off her back and holding it out for him to grab. "Why?" "Well, it's hard for everyone when they see their friends get killed, but it's worse seeing them turn insane, so I thought you could go out and makes some more friends." She said still holding out the rocket. Vergessen stood up and grabbed the rocket launcher. "Thank you Amanda" "Your welcome, Lil Bud" Amanda then walked back to the docks. "Ghost , what's happening out there?" Vergessen asked while rushing towards the exit. A tiny, spiky ball appeared in front of him and said " No casualties as of now". Vergessen ran out the exit into the battlefield, Guardians were battling ferociously against the Hive. Vergessen quickly pulled the rocket launcher off his back and fired at the ship, the rocket flew in the air and hit the ship. When the rocket hit the ship there wasn't an explosion, instead the ship turned to ashes instantly and got blown away by the wind. Everyone cheered in happiness as the remaining Hive ship fled. What no one noticed was a remaining Thrall, that sneaked up behind Vergessen and stabbed him in the back. Vergessen fell to the floor in agony.
