There is a little room past omnigul that you can go to if you kill most of the ads. Of all 3 of you are in there, 2 constantly shoot her and 1 constantly revives. It is so much faster that way.

That tactic is most effective when one person stays in the spawn area as insurance. One properly angled arc boomer blast with arc burn will kill everything in that room. Any other burn you can get away with 3 in that room.
-
You forget that reviving teammates gives a shield and if one guy is up in the corner splash damage is irrelevant.
-
I've been in the room when it happened. Splash damage is real when it's arc week and it's a boomer shooting.
-
Then your dude was in the wrong spot because there was boomers for days.

I didn't say every time. I'm just saying if the boomer happens to be standing in the right place, usually right below the door to the right with an angled shot. It's not common but it can happen. It's not worth the risk IMO when it can be done easily from the starting room. But it's not an issue for me because my group is talented enough to not hide and revive for an hour. Look up my stats for that strike, I think we did it in 23-27 minutes. We did the whole strike on all three characters in just over an hour. But you play the way you want.

It took less than 5 minutes to kill omnigul. So it wasn't an hour, nor should it be, to do it. Much easier than constantly killing ads regardless of 3 32s firing Gjallarhorn. I don't think you've ever done it and if you did, it wasn't done right. I'm usually the skeptic and I was at first but it worked like a dream. But like you said do it however you want.

Edited by way455: 3/20/2015 3:25:24 PMI was referring to the OP taking an hour on OnmiB, not us. It didn't take much time to kill her for my group either. She's usually dead at the start of her second scream. Not sure what you're saying when you say you don't think I ever did it... did what? Sit in the tiny room? Yeah I've done it, hence my point about a stupid wipe or having to rejoin. I just would rather do it from the front with my BWI running. It's probably easier to do that tactic now with the heavy ammo bug fixed now I'll bet.

My teams little issue is getting to that point! I LOVE to get in that spot and either kill everything I can, or hold back in the corner and do the reviving. My teams arc weapons are quite shy of "healthy" (my best heavy is a 242 launcher). I have suggested that we each find randoms to help us out individually and group back up for next week's nightfall.

The arc splash makes it risky. One mistake and you're wiped.
-
The dude in the corner is protected from splash damage and constantly shielded from revives trust me
-
No it doesn't I've done it countless time that's the only way I've done t since the DLC. You won't die as long as one person is in the corner. What we do is one person in the corner, second person close to the person in the corner so if they die they can revive them, and the third person close to the second person. So that way the second person can revive them if they die. Pretty much line up.

Just noticed that room last night for the first time...have to try that.
