Your calculations are wrong because the bounty counts assists too, not just kills and deaths.

Can anyone else confirm this. I can confirm that it does not count my assists. Is this a glitch? Maybe counts assists if they get a void kill? An update to the bounty since I last ran it?

That's the only explanation I have for me to have completed the bounty so quickly. I suck at getting kills and usually end up with a ton of assists but I know for certain it didn't take me more than 10 games to finish the bounty.

Same here. Finished in less that 10 games. I know the assist counted too.

I think people maybe confuse it with the Invective bounty where assists do count. I don't know how the Thorn bounty would count assists. Would you get the points if you injure somebody with a void weapon and then somebody else finishes them off? Would the person who eventually gets the kill also have to be using a void weapon? I did the bounty in 10-15 games. I don't remember assists counting but I wasn't really paying that close attention either.

It seems this is not the case for everyone. Assists do not count for some but do for others.
